i agree that’s why i have learned to pack for a week in hand luggage. Anything you can’t fit in buy it there still a mile cheaper!!

Is this country any good in weather and food. I mean never heard much about bulgaria. If i was comparing I would with canary islands and greece, portugal. Anything like these destinations?

Sunny Beach is more like Benidorm, haven’t been to this resort but 4/5 on Trip Advisor

Albena resort is good for families for a relaxing holiday. If you need more like Ibiza style place than go to Sunny Beach.
    Heat added (edited)

Only can confirm the above, is family oriented resort, sunny beach or golden sands if you want to go wild. But end of September is getting chilly, autumn is about to start. Comparing to English weather still way warmer

The hotel is 30km from the airport. If I pay two taxi fares it's a lot of money.

Clearly not been to Bulgaria before - it's not that expensive.

Seems very good value even with baggage but I find it borderline sly baggage and transfers not included.

Carpet in the rooms don't see that very often.

Paid 4.5k for Egypt next week with 2 kids. So this seems pretty good to me :P

I doubt the weather is gonna be good. Yeah, price is fantastic but you'd probably need to buy jacket from there since it won't fit in the travel bag

I rented a car to get from Sofia to bansko ski resort after years of paying for transfers which have steadily increased to around £60 pp for the 1.5ish HR journey. It was so cheap, around £5 per day for a brand new large Skoda, So worth considering if you have a few of you. Also other recommendation is to not end up in the Sofa hospital. Horrendous.
