I find it goes off very quickly

My husband said the same. Great for those who go through milk quickly, but not for smaller families who use less

I have one in the fridge that is about 10 days past its BBE and it's still fine, as was the last one. So perhaps it's individual stores that have worse storage/ fridges than others

I know this thread is full of illegally watered down milk and false labelling conspiracy theories, but in all seriousness, if milk smells fine and looks fine and tastes fine then believe it or not, it's fine. How do you think people lived for the last 100,000 years before they invented BB dates. (edited)

Milk goes off quickly and a watery texture compared to others. Wouldn't recommend. Pay the .45p more for a much better quality one elsewhere

Maybe it's the way they store it via transport/store it in-store. It does seem to go off earlier, we bought some and usually buy from Asda/Lidl and they keep quite good

Giving the hard working dairy farmers less money.Or are farmfoods taking the hit on this. (edited)

Don't complain. Pretty much everything has gone up substantially in the last couple of years so any saving for the average consumer is good in my book

So full fat is now semi skimmed
    Semi skimmed is now skimmed
Skimmed is now white coloured water.

Full fat???? You mean 96% to 97% fat free?

I have actually noticed that even the blue top is way too watered down. This wasn't the case a few months ago. Now, even the milk that we have delivered has been watered down. Where do you go from this predicament??? :/

Buy a cow keep it in your garden ,maybe.

We go through 6 or 7 of these jugs per week, never had any issue.
However because we pretty much get through a jug in a day I've no idea if it goes off quick as it doesn't last long enough to go off.

Regarding the taste, green milk tastes the exact same as it does from tesco or asda, but I do remember someone saying the blue top is different.

    Are you bathing in it?

If these were £5 each, everyone would be raving about how great they are
  13. biggysmalls's avatar
Has it already been watered down?

It still works out cheaper than 6 pints for £2.15

    6 Pints of Milk (3.40 Litres) = £2.15

    2x 4 pints of Milk (4 Litres) = £2 (edited)

Was £1.49? When? Been a £1 for ages.

Mine was 2 for £2 for a while but was more than £1 for just 1. Can’t remember exact price as was no brainer to buy 2 if use enough.

I got some from Longsite Manchester store today, it is very see through watery compared to the Tesco bottle I had opened
