I had 4 tyres replaced recently due to cracking sidewalls (all had over 5mm tread left) and spoke to goodyear customer support to find out how to stop this happening again to the new set. I suggested that maybe some kind of polish to feed/protect the rubber, and was abruptly told that any of these types of cleaner/polish will age the tyre quicker rather than protect it.
Autoglym was what I used on the cracked tyres regularly, so maybe this contributed to the aging/cracking? (edited)

I used something off eBay, same issue, think the tyre was replaced last year, so annoying

If you've got a nice car with nice alloys, tyres are such a let down if they aren't dressed.
Happy to show you a 50/50 next time I do them to show the difference with dressed and undressed

Just used carpro Perl today.. basically makes your car tyre look brand new and for longer. Probs pointless for most people but yeh for those of us who like a nice clean car..

I bought a bottle of this, and then found out you can't put it on motorcycle tyres.

So now my POS Peugeot 207 has bright shiny tyres and my shiny chromey bike has dull and disappointing tyres, lol.

Can't comment on this, but the sauce equivelant from Autoglymn is very good. Use my bottle fairly frequently and it seems to last forever. Only downside is that it's very messy, is the spray better in this regard?

I find the gel version lasts longer than this, and not too messy, just splotch a sink sponge with it and give em a wipe

I use the meguiars gel with a 1 inch or so brush, the bottle lasts a while and it seems to last ok on the tyres too.
