4 for 390 Michelin, i like GT Radials, Champiro FE1 fully fitted for 272.

I like them as i drive a lot of miles and they last a long time, so long as tracking and balancing is good. My Mrs drives the car harder than me, and although they are more noisy then say dunlop or goodyear, the price difference matters, my car now has 223,000 miles on, mainly motorway and i generelly get in excess of 30,000 miles out of a tyre on the rear and 25000+ on the front, biggest issue is nails and screws in the tyres when going onto industrial estates. Having driven company cars for the last 20 years, I have been through pretty much every brand of tyre multiple times. Only Dunlop wear faster the Michelin from my experience. Continental last longest (40k on rears) followed by Goodyear.

Great deal, ordered them last time this offer was on with Camskill, think around 6 weeks ago.

Arrived the next day and the cash back paid out last week, all super easy.

Is anyone else having issues with the Michelin cashback site not loading?

    So close, needed 225/45 R18

You will be fine going for 40 instead of 45, just a slightly lower profile but I doubt you would notice this by eye.

    protyre.co.uk/car…ngs

"The two digits following the first slash are what is known as the aspect ratio. Essentially this is the height of the tyre as a percentage of the width. So, in the example, the tyre has an aspect ratio of 55, meaning the profile height is 55% of its total width (107.25mm)"

Could i use these on my focus? The guide says i need 235/40R18 95W, i'm not up on these additional numbers at the end, never even noticed a car tyre stating "92y" etc. Mine are over £150 each so this would be a bargain if i can use them
    gallopingbanker's avatar
Yes. The Y speed rating exceeds that if the W on yours.

Brilliant deal if the size you need!!!

Camskill use to be a good place, always very helpful and knowledgeable. Now it's not customer focused and if any issue arises the manager is a joke.

Check Costco as well. Their Michelin tires are/were on sale. We always found the best price at Costco.
    AverageBloke's avatar
Same here, but they don't all do tracking.

245/45 r19 are £100 more per corner! Next car i get might actually have to check tyre prices before hand
    deep.thought's avatar
I feel your pain. I'm looking at around £300 each for rears for mine. Maybe a fraction less.

Any cashback or is that final price?
Here u got £60 cashback so actual cost is nearly £100 less than Costco price you have mentioned.

I bought these without doing my research first, and wasn't impressed. Don't get me wrong, they're a very good everyday tyre, but really not a replacement for a PS4S or Eagle F1. Admittedly, I'm running then on a very high powered vehicle, but grip and feel is pretty disappointing.

Heat for price on this tyre size OP. (edited)
    deep.thought's avatar
Narrow Tyre for a very high powered vehicle.

Worth noting these aren't the UHP tyres, but still very good.
    SesameStreetKid's avatar
Meaning they wear out quicker? 25-30k?
    (Ultra-High-Performance)

Do they fit them too? (edited)

Just paid that for two in 245/35/R19
    breathe3asy's avatar
Mate I paid almost £500 for two in 225/40/R19 - almost sent me to tears but looked for a solid month and no movement in price

Can't find a good deal for 205/40 R18 (86Y), have been searching for months
  25. daniq's avatar
Any recommendation for all year tyres in Scotland? I probably don't do more than 8000miles a year. I wouldn't like to pay more than £110 per fitted tyre?
    greglowe1's avatar
Probably get a really good small sized tyre for that price, can’t tell you if it’ll fit your car though…
  26. MrAnderson's avatar
Really struggling to find someone with stock of the size I need for my rears : 245 40 R17.
  27. Latterman's avatar
Have these on the M140i and I would recommend. Very similar performance to the PS4 (Non-S) but with better life.
    Waka69's avatar
Do the ps4s have better life than the ps5?
  28. JoeKing5321's avatar
Possibly£409 fitted at F1 auto centres.
  29. Cameron583's avatar
Camskill were the cheapest I could find.

Id previously booked with ATS, but they cancelled my booking as they couldn’t get the PS5 until June.

F1 autocentre didn’t have the fronts in stock, and everywhere else was quoting £2-300 more for a set of 4.

Even places which advertise price matching wouldn’t price match ATS.

Couldn’t understand because I was able to get such a good price through camskill.

In the end, I went with National Tyres who did price match ATS.

225 Seems a bit skinny for revving up the Bugatti.
  31. Little_Casper's avatar
Why does my car have to have 225 on the front and 245 on the rear? ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
    stevieshoes's avatar
    Tractor?
  32. iEimis's avatar
Have Pilot Sport 4s on the rear (this exact same size) done about 5k miles, dropped to about 7mm thread so not bad at all. Had a flat tyre on the fronts so had to get it replaced locally and the prices for Michelins were atrocious so had to settle for something budget for now just to get it done. Still cost £140 for 2.
  33. stevieshoes's avatar
    Argh anything on 225/60?
  34. RoadManz's avatar
Ah so annoying, I just bought 2 PS5 tyres in the deal size on the 28th April and delivery is today. Is there anyway I could still somehow qualify without returning the order and repurchasing?
  35. diegopd's avatar
Are these better than the XSX version? :P
  36. Spriggan's avatar
Any recommendations on good garages to fit tyres?
  37. Ghostedmillennial's avatar
How much better than the PS4 are these? The PS4 has been a fan favourite for quite some time.
    Latterman's avatar
They perform similarly with a supposed jump in tyre-life but with higher RRP. So if you get them on offer always get the PS5 over the PS4. I've had both on the same car and they feel very similar.

Great buy, I ordered these two days ago and already got delivered them today

This or the Crossclimate 2 for scottish roads?
    Kermatt's avatar
Crossclimate 2 or Vector 4S all day long, even more so for Scotland. It's always amusing to see the pillocks revving the nuts off their cars and sliding around in the snow as you drive past almost effortlessly.

Don't forget Vector 4S and CrossClimate 2 are also awesome in the wet... And any temperature below 10 degrees they excel against summer tyres of any variant. The two aforementioned tyres offer excellent summer performances as well.

Very few people need to be putting anything other than all season tyres on their cars given the all round performance that Vector 4S and CrossClimate 2 offer. (edited)
