On-the-beach retreat
The Calimera Serra Palace pairs a brilliant setting with a lengthy list of facilities, so it’s a big hit with families. Sun-worshippers and view-seekers will be happy here, too. This authentic-looking hotel is fronted by a private beach, giving you direct access to golden sands and superb views of the Mediterranean Sea. It’s made up of terracotta-roofed buildings, scattered among tropical gardens.
You get a choice of pools at this place, and the rainbow-coloured aqua park is packed with slides, chutes and fountains. Sports-facilities include darts, archery, tennis and minigolf, and little ones can get stuck in with games and arts and crafts at the kids’ club. The children’s HQ is really lovely, with candy-hued clubhouses and a neighbouring playground. While smaller guests are making friends, head for the Iklim Spa for a massage for two or a traditional Turkish bath experience.
