It takes around 15 mins to walk downhill from the hotel to the Marina with its cafes and shops. Another 15-20 mins to walk to the Town centre on level ground along promenade. You will want to get a dolmus back that will drop you right outside the hotel, cost around 1 euro pp. It has got expensive in Kusadasi over the last few years particularly for Alcohol so the all inclusive at hotel is a bonus. Although no great sandy beaches near hotel you can get a dolmus to Ladies beach which takes 15 mins aor to long beach or Star beach around around 25 mins from the centre. Market day is wednesday in the town but i prefer the one in Selcuk on a saturday which you could combine with a visit to ephesus or Sirince village. For Selcuk dolmus you come out of hotel Turn right to main road and cross over main rd and find dolmus stop about 50 yds down the hill.

Make sure to read Love Holidays reviews on Tripadvisor before booking

    Absolutely.
    A disgusting company.
Sell package holidays, but when things go wrong, they claim they aren't a travel agent, despite PTR.
Go with a reputable travel agent and try and get a price-match.
Definitely read up first though and don't go in blind.
Good luck if you gamble with them.

    Kusadasi is my 2nd home.

If you would love a tour around the town centre, then check out Youtube channel: Kusadasi life
he has nice walks around the town, so u can get an idea of the place.

i know this one is all inclusive but u got to have a meal one night on Ladies' beach and get there before sunset,
it is on the other side of town btw, if ur seeing someone, married or whatever "romantic sunset meal"

    Mood restaurant on ladies' beach
    Somewhere Else Restaurant.
    Blu Notte Restaurant (old Roseys)
you have many more but as u keep going then u have "La Perla" new one which is signed and posted well
but he is on top and the views are even greater, do not go to the bottom restaurant.

in town, u have Saray and Golden boys which are amazing as well.

Stay away from Planet Yucca, overcharges and he has gone down the hill.

    # Change ur money when ur there in the town near the port is best.
    # big market is on a Wednesday in town, however, there is a lovely market further out of Kusadasi which the location of this hotel ur that side anyways, easy enough to get a bus to Selçuk, just ask someone for the bus to Selçuk on Saturday morning, prices on this market are better and not as pushy as town market, but if u are new to turkey markets and u do head to the town one then go upstairs first then downstairs because it does get rammed.

There is 5euro shop on ladies' beach in the middle u can't miss it he stands out from the rest nice guy what runs that. if u desire turkish finest brands for clothing, and if u go to town then u have loads of trainer shops look out for shoebox. (edited)

What’s best to take as currency to turkey? All the videos I watch show the markets and everything priced in euros but a work college has told me I will get ripped off and stick to the Turkish lira. First time travelling to turkey.
    Technoman2's avatar
Take english and only change to what turkish lira you will actually use. Banks give the best rates. You can use TL or euros on the Dolmus or in bars and restaurants. Prices in bars and restaurants are in TL and Euros but the important thing is not to get stuck with TL when coming home and the reason is 5 years ago there was 3tl to the pound now there are 20tl to the pound. Very volatile currency so beware.

Have been to Antalya & Side in mid April, the weather was great.
Strong sun at that time of year, but be warned, the outdoor unheated pools and sea will be too cold for swimming.
Kusadesi is slightly further north, not sure if the weather would be as good there.

    £93 pp for hold luggage
  11. innocent's avatar
Even with the hold luggage costing extra as has been pointed out, you are getting 4⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ramada inclusive, decent price I would say 🔥

Hotel is great and the food is quality. Generally don’t like going back to the same place but I would score it a 7/10.

Unless things have changed significantly from years ago I’d steer clear of any public beach if you want to avoid being hassled constantly. Private beach clubs were the only solution.
Would recommend a trip to the ruins at Ephesus while there though.8)

My Amex is giving 5% with love holidays so worth a check if booking with them
    Bargainz999's avatar
I think you don't get the same section 75 protection with AMEX. At least that's my understanding.

Heat, so tempted by this deal

I will not recommend to deal with Love Holiday due to past experience, they are just agents and do resell the package, they don’t take any responsibilities if your hotel / airline go bust.

What's the best car hire company in Turkey, I am planning to go this April but would rather use hired car to have a bit more of a freedom.

    Any suggestion appreciated.
  18. akil_mayet's avatar
I think it's already been commented that it will be Ramadan hence the cheap price. Turkey although very liberal is still 99% Muslim. I don't think anyone would want to be eating and drinking whilst all the hotel staff are fasting. I would generally avoid going holiday to any Muslim country in Ramadan
  19. bepurple's avatar
I went to Turkey last wèek in April last year. We were not affected by the fasting in any way although we stayed all inclusive and didn't have meals outside the hotel. Everything seem to be open, but then we were in the tourist areas so that would make sense. (edited)
