Not quite, but still great value.

I just ordered this last night at £65.47. It's out for delivery. Anyone know if Amazon will refund the difference or do I have to open a return request and create a new order? I also opted for the interest free pay over 5 months if that matters.

I think Amazon only refunds the difference in one of their special sales (e.g. Xmas sale) where they've explicitly stated that they will. Creating a new order is usually more straightforward but your payment plans probably complicates things. I would definitely speak to customer services if I were you. No harm trying!

I just got mine. Ordered it at 12:45am this morning when it was still £65.47.

I have to say speaking as someone who is not exactly new to arcade sticks I'm pretty impressed with the performance and build quality of this. I've only had about 10 minutes play so far but this is a long way from 'budget' sticks of old.

Way better quality than budget hori, Dreamcast arcade stick, original neogeo stick etc. The lever (stick) and buttons are really not that far off my sanwa parts based original Street Fighter IV Tournament Edition Fight Stick.

    Well worth £60 IMO.

Agreed it's the perfect mid point between something that feels like it will break and something that will break your wallet

I don't even really like 2d fighters and still want this for some reason...

I use this mostly just to relive the Cowabunga Collection as I can't afford the arcade 1up machine but it is great for some pixel nostalgia

I think the only downside is I can't use it for my Xbox too, don't get me wrong I'll end up buying the Xbox one as well lol but it would be nice to save a few quid.

They actually have an image of someone using the arcade stick to play a 3D Mario game? Is that even possible??? (edited)
    noahsdad's avatar
Definitely possible, but I wouldn't want to play that way myself.

For some reason my one doesn't connect to my switch straight away. I have to go to controllers and fiddle around untill it is detected . Otherwise it is a great controller specially after swapping the gate from square to hexagon which takes 5 minutes.

    This good for tekken 8?
    namnam's avatar
Yes. Like any stick though it will take getting used if you come from a pad controller.

Lever and buttons are upgradable to Sanwa / Seimitsu. It's a nice sensible sized controller with some great features. Wireless, programmable macros etc. (edited)

I bought this at £62 and haven’t used it yet but I am still tempted to get a second at this price for some multiplayer action.

Anyone successfully connected an 8bitdo controller to a PS5?
