Basically a posh soda stream, but stainless steel so should last a lot longer (uses soda stream and compatible gas canisters).

They were this price at Black Friday and have hit it a couple of times since then, but usually are more.

  • Aarke Carbonator 3 is one of the slimmest sparkling water makers - Forget the plastic soda machines of the past, when it comes down to performance and quality, a seamless stainless steel enclosure is designed to stand the test of time
  • Designed in Sweden and engineered to elevate everyday routines
  • Making sparkling water at home - No more buying of plastic water bottles in store - Better for the environment and your personal economy
  • Sparkling water is a healthy alternative to keep hydrated. For more bubbles, push the lever several times to achieve your prefect level of carbonation
  • The PET water bottle is perfect not only for the kitchen countertop but also for the dinner table - it’s BPA free and recyclable
  • Compatible with most standard CO2 gas cylinders (not included)

With Costco you get the gas bottle worth £20, you don't with this deal.

Costco online only membership is £15 for a whole year and prices include delivery so a no brainer really, with the £20 saving get the Costco deal and enjoy the whole years membership for nothing and you still save a fiver, you can apply here costco.co.uk/mem…9-O

I have a few of these in different colours and they are great, NOTE they can use the Sodastream bottles but beware Sodastream have 2 versions, this one ONLY takes the BLUE canisters NOT THE PINK, you can get a 12mth deal with Sodastream where they are shipped to you when you require them in boxes of 4, and when you have used 4 you return the empty canisters with free return from these pick up places that are around like garages, shops, cost for 12 bottles over the year is £119.88, no deposit is required for the canisters they trust you to return them. Normally in shops you are charged at least £20 per canister and given something back if you return one, this annual system is great as you always have stock, you just order more when required and return the empties as and when,

You can buy the year deal here and on purchase your first 4 are sent immediately, this works out at £9.99 a canister sodastream.co.uk/pro…lan

    Hope it helps someone! (edited)

Sodastream bottles fit perfectly, I have a load of the very expensive Aarke ones and they are pretty cr@p as the metal base glue fails and it comes away, I re glued but for the money shouldn't have to do that!

Warehouse bottle here if you quick amazon.co.uk/Sod…8-3

DO NOT GET THE GLASS ONES THEY DON'T FIT! (edited)

For an Extra £30 on the canister exchange scheme I mentioned above you can get a FREE Sodastream machine, yes I know it doesn't make sense as the 12mth exchange deal is only £119.88 but anyway the option is there if it suits someone, you can also pay a little more and get a better machine, full details here sodastream.co.uk/pro…ker

When using these machines, only fill the bottle to the line shown in the container, press the lever and you will hear the phsssssh as teh gas enters the canister, when you here the tone change to a squeak stop, that is one press, you do this a minimum of 3 times, I find 4 perfect but depends on how carbonated you want your drink.

Once you have an Aarke you realise how plasticy the Sodastreams really are build wise, the Aarke's are a piece of art and as I have said I have quite a few in different locations that I use on a regular basis.

You know when to change the canister when the air struggles to fill the container and the firm pshsssh fizzles out event;;y to nothing happening when you press the lever.

NOTE: when changing the canister it requires you to turn the Aarke upside down, don't forget top remove the stainless grill or that will just fall off and could get damaged or lost if aboard a boat.

    Fantastic price.

Sucks that even if I got the machine for free, it is cheaper to buy bottled sparkling water. If it was cheaper or the same price I would 100% would get this as I basically only drink sparkling water.

You need to watch Big Clive my man.

What he cannot carbonate is not worth talking about.

    Your welcome.

    Nice one mate

Three squirts and listen for the high pitch after the phsssh, stop then do second etc, if you like very gassy add a 4th or even a short 4th.

Now you have the plan you get discounts off the Sodastream store so check out the deals you get as a member after logging in, flavours here sodastream.co.uk/col…urs

You can also get the syrup in bulk amazon.co.uk/Pep…8-8 (edited)
