    Some very decent prices on that outlet store on Ebay. Never bought a refurb before. What actually are they in layman's terms. Returns I'm assuming? What does grade A mean?

    Refurbs are often returns, ex-display, old stock, sometimes just opened or damaged box if Grade A. Essentially Grade A will mean 'like new' and you may struggle to know any different.

    This is also marked by ebay as 'Certified - Refurbished', which they define as....

    Can anyone suggest a compatible 12 or 14" refurb? I do have an Asus CM3 which I love, but wanted something different for my 12yr for light usage IE not for gaming. Many thanks (edited)

    Noticed on that eBay shop that this one has a backlit keyboard...I see that the release date is 2021, so should be good for a few years....Is it decent for the price?

    NX.AYGEK.001 part......I think this makes it the CB515-1W, the AUE page gives a date of June 2029 for the ChromeOS updates ending. That pretty much ties into it having the Pentium Gold 7505 processor as it was launched at the end of 2020

    Looks generally nice, I don't think it's a touch screen.
