Well as aeg is owned by Electrolux, who make zanussi and many other brands, lots of which are rebadged. I would think the likelihood of them being made in Germany are slight.

@yorkie12 OP saying avoid Chinese landfill when AEG has factories in Sweden, Mexico, U.S.A., Turkey, China, Ukraine, Poland and Germany.

So avoid Chinese ' 'rubbish' by buying something potentially made in China (edited)

my AEG died within 2 years....poorly constructed. Hinges fell to pieces.

My aeg appliances (oven, washing machine and tumble dryer) are over 10 years old and have been faultless

A cut above most of the Chinese brands

On their web site they make you believe that this oven uses less than an air fryer (except for the grill, which uses 2300W alone). I don't trust this company.

They use power warming up, then hardly anything after that. If it's well insulated (and they are) they are just heating the air and metal inside the oven.
Why not buy one and put a meter on it?

In all my years of purchasing, I experienced the worst possible service from this company. Terrible communication, failed promises, ultimately I never received my product and only a charge back made them move. They outsource delivery to different companies that hold stock so you end up dealing with more than one contact to try and progress. This might seem like a good deal, but I will never buy from AEG again check out their reviews on the trustpilot

My experience wasn't the same. Ordered their 9000 model direct from AEG in December and arrived within a few working days. Works without any issues, however the smart side of it is pretty poor compared to the BSH crew. Oven though - very impressive. Let's hope it doesn't break eh?

I can't find any indication that this is made in Germany and suspect it's probably made elsewhere.

How do you get this oven drunk?
