Usually £99.99.

I've been waiting for either this or the Ninja temperature control kettle to drop (which coincidentally is also reduced down to £69.99 - link here) and have opted for this due to the colour working in my kitchen slightly better.

Decent reviews on Amazon and elsewhere and a few useful features such as a 40 minute keep warm function.

PRECISE TEMPERATURE CONTROL
The Gourmet 7 is more than a kettle. With precision temperature control from 40°C to 100°C, you can prepare water for baking, baby food or green tea at the perfect heat. Delivering more than just boiling water.

TEMPERATURE MAINTENANCE
A constant temperature can be maintained for up to 40 minutes once the Gourmet 7 kettle has been heated. And whenever the temperature drops by 2°C, the kettle's element will automatically react to raise it back up.

LARGE OPENING FOR SIMPLE CLEANING
Avoid spillages with the large, smooth-opening lid. It allows for easy cleaning, emptying, and refilling. With the 360-degree base, the Gourmet 7 can be docked and undocked in any direction.

BUILT IN SAFETY FEATURES
The base’s non-slip coating minimalises the risk of accidental slippages. And to ensure constant safety, the Gourmet 7 will automatically deactivate when it detects there’s insufficient water in the chamber.

SCALE FILTER
Enjoy pure, fresh tastes after every boil thanks to the built-in scale filter. Designed for better quality brewing.

I really think kettles should just boil the water, then stop when it's boiled. Anything else is needless complexity. Staying at a friends house, we had to phone him up to ask how to use the damn kettle.

But I expect this should be hot if you're a fan of needless complexity.

... there are lots of occasions when water should be a specific temperature below boiling. Guessing how much cold water to add to drop the temperature back down or standing there watching it to prevent it boiling at a guessed temperature is needless . Pressing a button is not. (edited)

I bought this about a year ago. It's slower to boil compared to my older Bosch but works very well. I also use it for my baby's milk as you can set the temperature to 40 degrees instead of covering yourself in milk just to make sure it's not too hot and it works a treat when I have expensive teas that I want to brew right

I hope you don't make baby formula with water boiled to only 40 degrees ?

Which? aren't a fan of this - it only got 47% which is annoying because it looks good on paper

Why didn't they like it? What brand did they like?

If you want a aesthetically pleasing and multi functional kettle then this is the one. Have had it for about 1 year now. Perfect for baby's milk as others have stated.

Not sure why people are hating. Yes a kettle boils water. Just like a tv is to watch TV. People still pay more for a better version.

Had a chrome version of this and they have a slow element so take a while to boil, quite annoying
