Only went to one branch in Romford

    Never again

Not even if it was free

Maybe was a one off but the stuff they have where definitely not fresh

After showing them they replaced but the replacement was worse

Selection in Bristol was OK, but not great, definitely not worth £25/£15

But very dirty plates, teacups and teapots look battered

Just head to waitrose or M&S cafe where your 15 quid will get you some quality food

Definitely gone downhill. We’ve used offers like this a couple of times and won’t go again. The restaurant was full and there were only 3 people working - 1 waiting tables, 1 coffees and 1 in the kitchen, so they struggled to keep up. It also looked very tired for somewhere which was previously deemed as aspirational. Real shame !

They do not make these on premises, they are delivered in boxes and shoved in the freezer or fridge. They are probably the worst afternoon tea you can buy.

Also as they do not make them, they can easily run out

I really wouldn’t pay more than tenner. Went this week with a buy a gift voucher. Listed in store at £35 which is a joke. £15 still laughable. Basically two full sandwiches ( once all the Crusts are cut off!) four tiny scones and a few sample size cakes. Honestly. Go to The ivy and have two cream teas for £16.

I went to the Glasgow Silverburn one today and was really disappointed, as stated by someone else the food was not fresh apart from the scones so if you think 2 mini scones with clotted cream & jam & a pot of tea is worth it then go for it, I will defo not be back that’s for sure.

As others have said, this really isn't worth the money. I did it at £15 start of the year, and somehow even then didn't feel like value for money? The whole thing felt incredibly tacky (appreciate that comes with the cost). Really wouldn't recommend it

Worst afternoon tea ever. The amount of salmon you get on the sandwiches is a joke. Service is terrible and staff don’t give a damn. Complained on Facebook, told to email customer services 6 weeks ago, zero response.

Sandwiches stingy filling and stale bread, minuscule amount of salmon, cakes are poor, coffee and tea not great (edited)

Definitely not as good as they were before the accounting fraud scandal. I guess the administrators needed to make savings

We went last week and used one of these BuyaGift vouchers. Never again. The quality of the food was terrible, even at £15 it was a complete rip off. They served us our coffees as soon as we sat down and we waited 25mins for the food (there were only two other customers in). We had to pay for refills too when the food finally arrived. Sandwiches terrible, probably the worst sandwiches I’ve ever had, the mini scones were has hard as concrete, the cakes were OK. Avoid!! P.S. I’ve always been told I eat anything so I’m not one bit fussy with food!

At £7.50 per person is just about acceptable, although wouldn't do it again. I just feel sorry for anyone that paid the full £35 retail price for this, that's just daylight robbery!
