Now that 1440p starts to be an aceptable competitive gaming option, I think 240hz is a must have at this price point

Certainly not for regular mainstream users. E-Sports requirements are hardly must haves the vast majority of gamers who might just be looking for a good monitor, which this very much is.

Tempted but I have seen the AW2723DF come down to £380 twice this year.
So if buy this I would be thinking about the 280Hz panel

Re the AW2723DF for readers who do not know. 280Hz is only over the displayport. Hdmi is limited to 144Hz, so long as you are using a high quality Hdmi lead, otherwise it defaults to 60Hz over Hdmi.

would this be a good monitor to use with an xbox series x?
looking to move from a big tv to a monitor and just seeing if this would be a good option to go for?
I have a tv with HDMI 2.1 at the moment so thought this would be good as it also has a HDMI 2.1

    you'd want a 4k tv or monitor for a series X

This looks fab but it doesn't appear to have a 3.5mm audio jack output? Just wondering how I'd run the PS5 sound through my desktop speakers without it? Thanks
