Agreed. People just post comments because they can post anything true or not. If they time it right then the deal goes cold. Most people then seem to jump on the bandwagon. One negative comment goes a long way.

This is getting boring and pointless, enjoy your 5 pence, hardly a bargain. Maybe you can buy a carrier bag with it to keep it in (excited)

You posted the comment 'Similar price on Fleabay since year dot' Why post that if they are higher on Ebay (not even the same) ??? Normally people only comment if prices they find elsewhere are the same or lower. Just seems a pointless comment, doesn't help anyone, does it?

Because it has been "Similar price on Fleabay since year dot" Pretty self-explanatory really, not seeing your point (excited)

So why did you post the comment?

Bluedio T6 Active Noise Cancelling Headphones Wireless Bluetooth Headset with microphone for phones and music - £25.32 @ Ali Express Store: Bluedio official store

Decent quality headphones but not worth the RRP. Excellent value at this price though.

You mean those pictograms have words to go along with them? I thought Chinese was like Egyptian and you could only draw it or some how perform it through dance.

Ordered a pair of T4S, TM and their Bose type speaker. All get good reviews and should keep me happy at the gym and home for around £50

Heavily accented English. Adds to the fun though.

Since they're a Chinese product wouldn't you only be able to hear the Chinese language through these?

Not heard an English review of these yet. May go for the Bluedio TM for £15.34 however they do say 10 pairs of T6 every hour for $1 if you’re lucky

Not sure about it having GG but TBH GG doesn't stop it cracking when dropped whereas with a tempered glass protector chances are that will take the impact, leaving the screen unharmed. I always fit tempered on my phones no matter what fancy glass they may have.

Very nice indeed unless you don't mind that notch at the top of the screen. I could live with that. Not sure if it has Gorilla Glass for that size of screen. Will get one for my old folks when there's more sellers in the coming weeks.

But hugely more modern looks! The huge bezels on the Mi A1 are a bit embarrassing now, and make the phone needlessly large/cumbersome. The Mi A2 Lite has a bigger screen in a considerably shorter and narrower body (the depth is larger due to the very welcome large battery upgrade) The way forward, no question. A1 Display 5.5 inches, 82.6 cm2 (~70.1% screen-to-body ratio) 155.4 x 75.8 x 7.3 mm (6.12 x 2.98 x 0.29 in) A2 Lite Display 5.84 inches, 85.1 cm2 (~79.5% screen-to-body ratio) 149.3 x 71.7 x 8.8 mm (5.88 x 2.82 x 0.35 in)

Comparisons: A1 vs A2L vs A2.,*,* Probably not worth the upgrade from A1. Okay maybe the A2L with bigger battery, compass but no FM radio, AC WiFi really? Very tiny incremental upgrades.

I wish!!!! Why can't they put an NFC chip in the global versions of their phones? I'd only buy Xiaomi if they did.

Gotta love when people justify their tax evasion and failure to properly declare the value of an item because big companies avoid tax. I don’t want to seem like a moaner here because no one is perfect but JEEZ, just own up and be a bit more brazen rather than saying it’s ok because X does it (even though strictly speaking those companies aren’t doing that at all). Make no bones about it: the reason these HK companies are so popular on HUKD is because they’re part of a tax evasion loophole that’s mainly possible because of the sheer volume of parcels coming through customs and the logistics of chasing them all up. Buyers are supposed to declare items over a certain value to HMRC but of course no one does. The prices here are very little to do with ‘cutting out the middle man’ and more to do with barely any tax being paid - either by the company at the point of acquisition or the buyer at the point of customs entry. There’s no moral high ground here and high street UK stores can’t provide any competition to these HK stores as far as pure prices are concerned.

"It booked a pretax profit of just €1.2m in the UK last year"

What was their profit year end? You do realise you don't pay TAX on revenue right?

interesting thanks

Surprinsgly good camera for the price

It's worth noting you can also stabilise in post if you know how. I don't have a clue how, but I've seen examples of it being done very well. With action cameras having such a wide angle, losing some of the picture to stabilise isn't such a big deal. That said, much better of the camera does the work for you! There's a YouTube channel called The Everyday Dad where the guy is obsessed with action cams and reviews loads of them, worth a look for anyone who wants to get more familiar with the key features.

Yeah...seems to be the factory-installed Global versions have nfc and all works well, but China ROM phones that have been flashed with Global by sellers don't have nfc. Trouble is sometimes you only find out when you receive the phone and find the box has been opened for flashing.

Dont have the phone, but the phone does have NFC and this is the global version, so Android pay and banking apps should be ok dont quote me on it though ;)

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I'm reading different answers. Perhaps Mrswitch can tell me? Does the Mi Mix 2s have nfc that works for G Pay (Android Pay) and is it compatible with banking apps. Thanks.

I bought the mix 2s privately in the end. The mix 2 I bought, which is the one I'm referring to above, I got charged £12.

I haven't had a phone break on me in 8 years, so me personally am not bothered.

AliExpress seem to be selling quite a lot of fruit etc that grow into impossible shapes. They also have square melons and other stuff.

Now we've been refunded where's the best/cheapest place to get one from now? (skeptical)

Display is the main improvement, other than that there is not much of a difference. If you haven't got either yet, then go for the Mi Band 3. If you have the Mi Band 2, it might be worth waiting for the NFC/international version in September.

is this much better than the miband 2 ?

Refund here as well and this is the reason (annoyed) Xiaomi Store Xiaomi: dear friend,Aliexpress's coupon have some problem, your order have been cancelled by Aliexpress. system will refund your money after soon,if you like it,you can place an new order but can't use Aliexpress's sorry to trouble you.

The last group of lg bootloop phones was the V10 and G4, they had the troublesome Snapdragon 808 and 810 era chips. Ive had an LG v20 for over a year now, it gets quite warm doing basic tasks, a little laggy and has god awful screen retention. At this point in time I would not recommend it purely for these annoyances, also the camera is vastly over hyped, the noise in images and poor lowlight make it pretty frustrating. The DAC is great and adding an extended battery back is awesome but it's just a chore to use sometimes when autorotate breaks etc. Also still on bleeding android 7.0, we'll get Oreo in August supposedly but by then P will be out. LG as a company are just poor for updates etc. Not going back to LG, had a G3, nexus 5 and shortly a pixel 2 xl which went back for screen issues. Oh and a g flex 2 which also had screen issues!

NK gave USB goodies pre-installed with malware. As I said in my comment, unless I know exactly where the phone is coming from and where it has been, I do not trust it. You're buying from AliExpress. Are you telling me that the phones come from the manufacturer directly, without going through a dodgy warehouse? I would not buy one. Not now, not tomorrow, not ever.

Zhiyun Smooth Q at Aliexpress for £80.69
Shipping from CNShipping from ChinaFound 7th JulFound 7th Jul
This is better than the DJI osmo 2 mobile and this is the cheapest deal I could find on the internet.

Yup, that’s the one.

Thanks Joe. Will be using with S9. Have you got a green with honeycomb logo for your channel?

I have the DJI with me now, will post a review video on it on YouTube this weekend with more details. My Smooth Q is on its way and a review video will follow. Search JOECAGE on YouTube. In short, for DJI 1) there is jello effect on the video 2) you can’t use the phone as a remote when using a GoPro on it 3) no 360 degree panning 4) iPhone X with case or bigger bumps on the motor. 5) 4K limited to 30fps on the iPhone X app. I’m not saying the Smooth Q will fix all of this, but I know it does fix most of the problems.

Why'd you say it's better than DJI? Genuine question and in the market for a gimbal for phone and gopro

Great price, though not sure about the seller. I bought one of these last year in Dubai from a Canon store. Great little thing for creating smooth movement when using your phone for video.

You're right, I own the SR950 and confused these with the 850 on offer here. Looks to be the same drivers and headband design, just with different shell design. Probably better than mine for gaming to be honest, as I honestly get scared enough times by the girlfriend with my closed back versions.

Right, they must be confusing these with a different model. Also, just want to say, having the Superlux 668B's that these are basically modeled on - it says 'semi open backed' but in my experience, the difference is negligible and they have nearly all the soundstage of fully open backed designs. Though it *does* have less sound leakage than fully open backed headphones. Still enough to bother people near you, though.

Good stuff - but these are described as open backed?

These are great headphones for the money. I use them on my PC for music and gaming mostly. At first there was a bit too much clamping pressure, but after I wore them for a day and stretched them out a bit they are incredibly comfy, even with glasses on. They have really good sound insulation, which can be an issue in some cases - people can sneak up on you pretty easily if you're really focused on something! I've had them for 2 years now and dropped them dozens of times and rolled over the cable ripping them off my head with no damage or issues, so definitely hardy enough. Sound quality is pretty good for the price also, with not too much bass for my tastes. Compared to my Seinhesser HD598 they have less "room", but they are closed back so you'd expect that and the quality is decent enough.

Amazon's price has now dropped to £28.70. Not their cheapest ever price but about £10 cheaper than it's been for the last 2 months.

You mean like the same rubbish you did on my Thread a few Day's ago here too yeh: Where amongst other other multiple conversational interaction's between ourselves there prior also, I also at some point later mentioned this to you also: To which (surprise surprise), you then furthered yourself with this final comment too: And allllll in all, to what benefit/to what avail exactly?!. So again, think about it? :-( I DID initially ask you earlier to think upon the whole reason/concept of what HUKD was allllll about, for a reason, yeh? Think about it ... Stop finding time time for yourself for such fruitless conversations please?. :-( As, if we're honest with ourselves, such things hold merit for no one, ever ... (Or perhaps, that's just me). So once again, pay note/attention to own advice too and such like, yeh? (or whatever ... ) Anywayz, once again, enjoy your weekend. :-) (Or at least, what's left of it). Later.

What the Hell?! Why not implement a personal policy of Read. Think. Post ?

No offense or anything, but I honestly believe that in you saying all that, that YOU yourself should be leading by your very own 'example' like?. :-( How very VERY ironic?!. What was allllllll your earlier stuff about then?. (And from THAT, my own comment that then preceded it, then later spurned forth ... scroll up like?, it's seriously all there ok?). Or am I still missing something ... Your hell bent on making World War on the backend of literally sodding sod all, and for what?. :-( I've before in the past on here (x-Months back that is), this place is called HUKD for a reason, yeh?. So it's not here for it to be slugfest ... :-( (Or maybe, I'm indirectly assuming stuff's again perhaps?, hmmmmmmm). Let's stick with the criteria at hand only, yeh?. No need for unnecessary 'extras' ... Enjoy your Weekend. :-)
