Yeah, got mine yesterday and caved in. Definitely legit, except for the dodgy conversion plug! Global firm ware too but I've flashed to the latest one from OnePlus site.

Got my parcel delivered yesterday. Unfortunately got home very late so haven't been able to check anything inside but it looks fine. It has Chinese packaging and the postage/delivery stickers show it as coming from France.

Im not paying the duty, will wait it out and raise a dispute I think. Unless you get yours first and confirm its all legit. If its any help, I'm here for moral support for you :)

I'm in the same boat as you. Will see what happens when the parcel comes.

I'd be terrified using this in cold showers and the rain ;)

I’ve looked at this the last time and what I found was the order had to be over something like £10 and it had to be a single item or the same seller for anything you are paying for.. only then does PayPal show. It also was sometimes cheaper without PayPal if there’s no discount or only a minimal discount as aliexpress add a PayPal charge for using PayPal, so sometimes cheaper just paying on card with no discount

Aliexpress- = Seller protection no matter what the issue. F AE

paypal never shows up as an option for me on ali hence no deal/discount

Really weird - paypal suggests I can pay - but when I try to checkout on AliExpress I don't see Paypal - I went with the email I got from PayPal thinking its an option to pay now !

Pretty sure Ali Express and DHGate are pretty much the same but I much prefer DHgate now for things like football shirts and other clothing. Fast delivery and always great communication by the sellers. Heat anyway for noting they accept PayPal

Mi Band tools works perfectly for me

Anyone got a recommendation for one of the alternative apps to the default Mi Fit? Mi Band Tools, Fitness and Notify etc?

With Quidco cashback :/ just about over tenner (party)

I bought a spare one of these for slightly less than that ages ago on the expectation that my original one would die... But it just keeps going (I even wear it for swimming despite it not being listed as waterproof). Bombproof. I'm not a massive fan of the design of the supplied strap though (it comes undone too easily) - there's some with the clip bit on the inside which are much more secure - I'd recommend getting one of them Voted hot by the way (but personally I'd spend a few more £ and get the Mi Band 3)

Water leak sensor works with Sonoff rf bridge £2.12 SONOFF Direct Store AliExpress
Found 8th DecFound 8th Dec
I ordered one of these to try out with the Sonoff rf bridge and it works fine. Cheap as chips but it will need an MN12 battery to power it (plenty on ebay and amazon). I'm going to… Read more

The bridge connects to your network at 2.4ghz only I think. To run it off the mains you would need a 12v transformer and rewire the unit, the batteries are only in use when the leak happens as it completes the circuit and duracells should last 2-3 years. You cant see the battery status in the app. If you have difficult access why not just lengthen the wires to the sensor? These are simple switches with rf, if you want extra features etc.. then a proper system is what you want but that will cost quite a bit more.

All I saw when reading the title was Water leak sensor works with Son of r bi*ch (lol) Need me eyes tested :{

Sorry to be thick, if I order this and the bridge will that give notification if there's a leak via an app. Also does the bridge connect to my existing network wirelessly and if it does is it 5Ghz or 2.4Ghz. Last questions. Is there sensible way to run the sensor via the mains as the position of it will be akward to get to and I would prefer not to have to consider if the batteries still have life left in them. If it has to be battery only and there is an app, does the app show the battery life status?

Looks doggy

You have to pay 18p shipping hence £2.12.

That's a shame. :-( I've alwayyyys wondered about those thing's ... Interesting info alllllll that, lol, thanx.

I totally agree with yiu, neither the Mi Pad 4 LTE, or the Mi Pad Plus LTE has band 20 (800MHZ), they're Chinese Device's, designed predominantly for the Chinese market at the end of the Day?. so it should surprise everyone none ... It supports 850MHZ though?. Which LTE/4G on most UK Network's out there?. So it's allllll goooood!!!. :-D

That's a China ROM that's been tampered with. Its a vendor rom. Its not uncommon.

It doesn't. There isn't one. Plus, according to xiaomi, there never will be. There wasn't one for mipad 2 or 3 either.

Not 100%, but gearbest, eglobal, and toby deals generally avoid the customs, I think they ship from within the EU. Or send it in bulk to an eu country, they get repackaged, and then sent to the buyer.

Is it Ali Express or do you know of other retailers that go through customs without problems.

Looks great with the little widger notch camera on the front

Band 20 is stil the major frequency for o2/Voda. o2’s Band 40 is more of an additional frequency aggregator for capacity as it’s downlink only unpaired TDD use (primary bands are up/down paired FDD). You’ll have a terrible 4G experience without band 20 on o2 and Voda, also the Honor phones are Supervoice capable on Three so you’ll have an inferior service on Three compared to using the same phone with band 20 capability.

God I hate Notch Screens, all my many icons are jostling for position and need a full row. (fierce)

Aren't Huawei being kicked out of Australia and New Zealand due to privacy isuues?

i`ve got a little rule when buying a mobile for myself, i ask myself how would i feel if i lost it and how much is it going to cost me to replace, as a result i don't spend over £150 for a mobile at the moment. but if i were going to break this rule, i`d do it for this phone just to find out what flagship performance feels like, would have to flash it to stock android though as i`ve heard the OS has been hobbled on this phone.

Ah ok, thanks. Officially, for goods from non-EU countries, it would have to cost less than £39 and declared as a gift from one individual (not a commercial company) to another to be VAT free. If not declared as a gift, then £15 is the maximum goods can cost to be VAT-free. That is the official line of course but in reality it seems the customs checkers are so understaffed and overworked that they don't have time to check most cheap imported goods anyway.

He means that they declare the customs value as $40 or something, and so usually you don't pay anything.

Not sure what you mean by that.

The screensize is comparable but not the form factor, the Z Ultra stood out because it offered a 6.4in screen when the standard bigger phones like a Note 3 were only 5.7in. Now the standard bigger phones are 6.4in-sh so the equivalent of the Z Ultra is something like the Mi Max 3 or 8x Max as you can see here:;idPhone2=9306&idPhone3=9313 I want to get the biggest screen possible that fits within the Mavic's arms and the tablets are just on the big side.

Oh well, that's been kept quiet

My Honor 8x Max was delivered today. I went for the 6/64GB - Qualcomm 660 version. Bought from aliexpress with free delivery method (Royal Mail). No customs or fees. A few points: * It does have fast charging (double lightning bolt) using the included power cable, plug and adapter. * Works fine on EE 4g. * It has Dual sim AND Microsd support (3 slot sim tray). * Mine came with Google Play already installed (but no other Google Apps - although just download and install them). * Some residual Chinese text on some apps, but not a problem. Full English language supported. * No AOD, 'cos it's an IPS LCD screen (my only gripe, but I'll live with it). * It's BIG and it's a great handset for the money. I love it! Oh, and the first thing it did when I set it up was to download an update that improves the camera. Update: You cannot currently change the default Launcher on the Chinese EMUI roms. Huawei/Honor removed the ability to do so on EMUI versions to Apparently, the ability to change to 3rd Party Launchers (Nova, Apex, etc) is being restored in future EMUI updates. Any questions?

Hi,I dont know if this is of any help,my AT+T HTC M8 works using band 40 on Sky Mobile(02) in Glasgow city centre and various other random places. Not certain how long for, seems a few months now, cant say it is any faster than 3G for casual usage, could be my phone though.Would be really helpful if 02 made a band 40 coverage map.

Wow that was unfortunate. Sounds like your order got lost and hence forth delayed because i bought mine a good while after i read your comment.. gonna be a while before i get to setting up though. Not a clue how i check if the bed is warped yet. Will watch some YouTube videos before i set it up. Hopefully youll get yours tomorrow!

You've received yours? When did you order? They sent me an email apologizing for a delay because of black friday they were OOS. I called them before placing the order to confirm they had, so I was unhappy. I replied asking when it would be sent pretty much instantly to what they didn't reply. Today I emailed again and they said it would be sent today for tomorrow delivery, the status on the website hasn't changed so... I don't know what to say. Ill guess I'll probably have to take back what I said and write my own review.

Got mine today! Ups left it propped up by the door... So not following what the arrows on the box say. Out of the rain but says 3D printer clearly on the side, obvious to a passer by that it might be worth nicking! Ans also had a few marks where itnhad obviously taken a knock so hoping everything will align correctly and no warped bed or broken parts.. Packaging doesnt seem the best either, seems a bit loosely packed in a cut-out with a thin foam sheet laid on the top. How was yours? If you recieved it already

I think it's expired, the cheapest version on that link is £151... Too bad, as I wanted to go for it, just took longer to decide...
