Usual price is £35.99, so a significant saving by using a VPN.
Here's how I did it...

Surfshark VPN set to Indonesia server.

Open the link

Use Code GOSUMMER
$5 for the year, approx £3.89.

It didn't work for me with revolut card, but did for Nationwide debit card.

More tools for more adventures: With offline maps, wrong-turn alerts, and extra planning features, AllTrails+ helps you make the most of every minute outdoors.

Most importantly you can download maps to take with you without a signal.

Great service, with plenty of trails you can follow from other users.

I've had both this and OS subscription and prefer this as it works around the world and has reviews of each trail.

Just so every knows, or doesn't forget. You can cancel your renewal while keeping your subscription for the remaining duration of the year so you don't get caught out.

I think it has to be done from a Web browser.
-click on the top left > my account > settings
-scroll all the way down to account settings and simply click on "turn off auto renew"
    -Confirm that. Done 🏻

I know some people who try and set alarms and reminder for subscriptions when 90%+ of them can be cancelled instantly without losing any benefit. (edited)

If you use the code on the UK site what price would the yearly charge be? Thanks in advance.

Yes - this deal is still available. Did it last night with no issues.

Yep, I just signed up now as well.

I think footpath is better for hiking. You can import gpx files (including from AllTrails), download them, add OSMaps data, and have map imaging / directions straight onto your smartwatch screen (Apple Watch). It’s cheaper too. (edited)

Cheaper than this method at £3.89?

    If so how please? (edited)

Can you use the code to reduce the price via the UK website? If so what price does it come to? Thanks in advance!

I used Malaysia, first revolut transaction failed, the revolut app said 'cannot process for subscriptions'
I deleted the card and got a new temp card and it worked first time.

My VPN did not offer Indonesia as a location, so I chose Malaysia and got charged $5 (£3.90) and Revolut did work for me. Thanks, OP, a fab find

Bargain! Annoying as just paid £20 for my renewal last week .

Can’t go wrong with AllTrails though. Used it over the past 3/4 years pretty much every month & it’s one app that I’ll always have a sub for

Thanks for this, I probably don't need it but hey its under £4, heat added
  26. irishjimuk's avatar
Thanks OP I was using another trail app but at this price they've got my custom
  27. herrbz's avatar
Think I prefer the OS Maps app, but that's about 20x more expensive than this deal lol. Heat.

What does this do that Komoot doesn;t?
    robs1's avatar
Do you mean Komoot free or premium? Premium is £60 a year?

Offline maps is the critical thing for me (and most users I guess). (edited)
  31. finknottle's avatar
Anyone who'd be willing to give a quick run-down of this vs. OSMaps? Which maps does it use at a fine scale, and do they have proper contour lines etc.?
  32. sibeer's avatar
My half price sub from last year is almost up. Tempted to do this on another email rather than wait for the expiration

Good app but you need to walk a lot to really justify £40. For £4 though anyone who fancies a couple of big walks should give it a go (edited)

    Wish this worked for trailforks
The MTB trails have poor coverage on this so far

Existing account was about to expire on 13th August, don't think there is a way to renew existing account at this epic price so just made a new account using hong kong free on windscribe and used paypal. All working great, thanks op!!!

paypal came out at £4.08 , little more expensive but still mega deal . (edited)

Didn't work on my laptop, just gave me the UK offer, but did on my phone
  36. roooby's avatar
I had an existing subscription that had less than a month left. I ended up having to uninstall the app and subscribe via the website using a new email. This was on a mobile, perhaps it's doable without uninstalling it if you do it on a laptop.

I prefer Komoot and have the world map pack but had to give this a go. I think the trails are far more visible with alltrails but never sure with either of these if the paths are actually official footpaths or not. I felt the OS app was the best due to proper OS maps but didnt have much community input.
Just had a check locally and Alltrails is unfortunately marking private farm routes as accessible footpaths, Komoot is better at avoiding this but still does it and obviously OS is best. Just to keep in mind if you planning a route or having to argue with some land owner about access. (edited)

All done through windscribe on mobile, though the price has gone up! That 3p could've been spent elsewhere
