I've bought it as I have an infirm elderly relative. It'll sit on her table, and I can connect to see and talk to her without her having to do anything. If she's not there, I can rotate it to check she hasn't fallen. And as it automatically turns to track the screen to where her voice is coming from, no matter where she is wobbling about, I can see & talk to her. She also can't use her phone very well, so she can video call me using just voice commands, or ask it to watch her favourite programs without her getting confused with her TV remote.

I didn't look at the photo feature when I had one before returning it. It's very locked down device with mostly Amazon services and Netflix. There is no YouTube app but silk web browser available for likes of Disney plus etc. It runs fireos yet you can't sideload any android apps. Few reviews I've watched focus on the hardware not the interface which lets this device down. E.g playing with settings sometimes it asks you to continue setting up routines or skills in the Alexa app on your phone... Why? It's got a 10 inch touch screen display more than capable doing same steps.
