Happy with my 5600, and this wouldn't be a big enough upgrade for the price, but I'll certainly grab this in a couple of years when it is around £100. I should get a decade out of my AM4 build, with only GPUs and a CPU upgrade.

I did the 5600 to the 5800x3d. Trust me, worth it.

This isn't a deal, this is the price of a CPU decreasing as it gets older. If anything it's a slower decrease than you'd expect.

I know none of us here have a crystal ball but do we think this'll ever go lower than £200? - looking at previous chip trends etc.

Doubt it. I can't even see it getting to £220.

And yet eBay sellers are still trying to get away with £300 for used.
