No idea if it's a good deal but this was the first film I rented when we got a VHS back in 1982 and it remains one of my all time favourite classics.

I miss the good old days of renting from the local video store. 1982 was the year I was born I didn't even think this was as old as 1981! Never seen it for years but it's a horror classic for me

What a movie this is , the slaughtered lamb , yes, the thing the fog and all the other 80s creepiest stuff and yes there is something I miss about VHS rentals, cheech and Chong etc next movie , what good nights in when parents were out having a night life, bringing Chinese food home for everyone , it's a shame now to see hard working decent taxpayers hardly able to feed themselves or their kids etc

It's strange to think that people are still watching movies this old, when there are movies like Morbius and The Matrix Resurrections they could be watching instead

Not sure about that artwork but the film is a classic and hopefully the transfer does it justice.

Well, I never knew Rick Mayall was in this, but it's been a minute seen I've seen it
I did used to wonder if it was worth going out for a pint when there was a werewolf around

Love this film, I have childhood memories of the early 1980s London it was set in. Shame the director John Landis is such a horrible individual (look up how he handled the unfortunate deaths on Twilight Zone The Movie). (edited)

I've not heard about this before and I've just read an article in the New York times about it. Obviously there has been a long history of poor safety on film sets before and after then and I've just read that between 1990 and 2016, at least 43 people died on U.S. sets and more than 150 sustained life-changing injuries. So was Landis a particularly nasty guy in this case or just unlucky and part of a poorly regulated industry, that was probably much worse back in the early 80s?
