I've been buying Spar's own brand butter, full 250 grams for £1.69

I think these companies take us for mugs. Anyway thats another on my boycott list, along with heinz and lurpak.

You might wanna add palmolive if you have their shower gels, 225ml down from 250ml

Costs more per gram than the Tesco butter while having worse reviews

50g less and your actually paying gram for gram more than you were when it was 250g so how in heck is this getting ‘any’ heat??

People you need to boycott these brands that deliberately over inflate prices or shrinkate such as Heinz, Arla Foods, Unilever etc then we can eventually eradicate food greedflation. (edited)

People you need educate yoursleves the price of this butter went up 25% a few weeks ago as others have said buy another brand that is still the standard 250g block and stop putiing deals like this on here even with the 10% saving you still are paying 15% more for it these brands are greedy only want to rip of the customer I for one will not buy this product the quality is no better the a supermarket own brand.

Today I see Lurpak has followed suit reducing size to 200g and ‘on offer’ at £1.90 which is 1p more than Tesco own brand which is still at 250g. Might be time to stock up on Tesco butter before it too reduces in size.

Possibly the worst butter on the market. Tasteless and not at all salty.

You will be surprised. Large parts of the community prefer this, some buy it in bulk to make ghee.

As long as you get good quality and obviously it saves the hassle but some people prefer to make their own.
