Great price for an excellent butter, this is 50p cheaper than buying in Waitrose..

If £2 still too much for your budget Farmfoods own brand pure salted butter is also very good and great value at £1.29.

Anyone know if this has the glorious scent of butter in the way that President butter has? I have tried a fair few and none can match President for its scent. Back in the day Anchor had it, but it's gone now. None of the supermarket own brand ones have it. Yeo valley is ok.
In recipes, like flapjacks for example, this aroma really shines through (edited)

Good price. Sometimes get this at Nectar Price for £1.73, but not in the last 2 months.

Heat from me. My respect for those who still produce 250g butter packs. I'm ignoring new 'improved' 200g ones.

Personally if they are cheaper per gram I will purchase the smaller size as it makes more sense

I thought they were phasing out the 250g so bought many few weeks ago at £2.40 which was the same price as the 200g. Now you're telling me it's £2 now!?? (edited)
