That's a lot of TV for the price (y)

It's got meetings all week, but should be about for a few drinkies come friday! Seriously though, this seems like a lotta telly for the money... Seems like it'd be a good addition for the bedroom.

Yes it has both a aerial input and satellite input

Does this TV come with a freesat port so I can plug sky dish cables into it? Thanks

Ive been looking into it, only thing stopping me at the minute is that it doesnt support amazon tv box sets etc but it does all the other usual ones like youtube apps etc

£169.00 at Currys too very very tempting!

Eldi Go go gadget super deal.

Yeah I nearly jumped on that but saw pixels were an issue ;( This was £40 less a week or so again. If it drops down again it's suppose to be pretty decent (for gaming, less so for professional). More than above but also is alit better on paper. Depends what you use it for the most really.

I've got a decent 1080p 24" but find it quite small, sometimes like to sit back. Think 27 1440p is probably my best best. I've had a Samsung though recently listed on here but the quality was awful (dead pixels)

Lol OK

Extortionate price. Why bother sharing if it's not a bloody bargain mate? Voted ice cold.

Exactly. It allows you to play e sport titles at 144fps and AA titles at 60-80 using a rtx 2080 for instance. And it WORKS unlike the flawed rushed X27.

This is actually a good price for a 4K 144hz IPS 1MS monitor. I can understand it can be out of people's budget, but it is targeted for those who want to game at 4K. Considering 4K monitors were near enough £3k at one point earlier last year this is really good. Heat added.

Not as good as when eBay was doing 15% off site wide, when we got this for about £430 but stillnot a bad deal. The sound is quite good, picture OK but not as vibrant as I would have liked from 4k but then a decent price for what you get. Could not get the App to share my iPhone screen on the TV but with Android tablet it sort of worked but not as good as Apple screen mirroring. We find the TV guide annoying as it cuts sound from the TV picture so you cannot seem to get Picture in Picture with sound whilst looking ahead at the guide. Freeview play going backwards works much better than our old Panasonic.

Ordered one on Wednesday night, just delivered. Top service. Good enough for my modest requirements and ideal when I travel due to the small size. Thank you OP.

For most apps for kids 1gb is still OK. Not brilliant, but doable. We need to remember a 5 year old will not care for smooth home screen transitions or even loading times for the most part. My kids both have a fire 7. 8 gig/1gb Aged 4 and 6 and no complaints from them despite its sluggishness. However I only notice it because I've got used to faster devices, as with most of us.

I am not a big fan either, it pushes Amazon products a bit too much for my liking, but for the average joe, it is a good product, especially as it is set up for the younger children straight out of the box. it is possible to create your own for a bit less, the 7" Fire tab is available in an "adult" form, and similar tough cases lower the overall price, but then you have the hassle of setting it all up and installing suitable games. TBH, I wouldnt buy another Tablet, a s/h large screen phone is a much better option and has a much spec, so will be usable for longer. My daughter currently has my old Xiaomi Note3 SE; better cpu, better RAM and storage, better camera and better battery life for about the same price (when new) as that 7" 32GB Fire tab. (I paid somewhere between £84 and £89 for it).

That's fair enough, as you say it does depends on your willingness/ability to tailor the device to your needs. Personally, having seen a Fire tablet and having to troubleshoot issues with it for my mother-in-law, I can't say I'm a fan. But that's a personal preference - I've always used pure Android devices and found them much easier to configure. But I am from an IT background so I'm happy to do that, others may not be. Good to have different viewpoints though.

Yes, but is is in a sturdy case already, and is pre loaded with young children in mind; the Lenovo will need a lot of fiddling to make it safe for young children - unless you can read multiple languages and can reset it to English. I've had 3-4 y/o's manage to set German, Italian and Greek, AND manage to invert the screen vertically. The worst was setting Alexa as the default for all searches, it took me 5 hours of internet searching before I discovered how to reset THAT option, as there is a lot of misinformation out there. I suggested it as it is a 7" screen, the extra 1" of the next one might not seem like much, but it makes it a lot larger and more awkward to carry around; 7" will fit most adult coat pockets. My daughter had a s/h 1GB 7" Asus, when the budget models had 0.5GB, but these days, 1GB means the child will outgrow its capabilities quite quickly, so if I was buying her something today, I would buy her an older tablet with 2GB RAM, and not a new 1GB model. Just my advice, as a parent of a young child, a keen tech buff, and after 25 years in EY education. EDIT, forgot to say, that fprice is for the 32GB internal storage option, the 16GB model is (I think) a similar price to the Lenovo

We recently moved into our new house and purchased this Samsung fridge. It is excellent, no problems at all, I agree with the water cooler, but it's a bonus. We got the samsung drier and washing machine too, just unfortunate that they don't really specialize in dishwasher or else we would have got a Samsung dishwasher too

Was this originally £399 then down to £389 with 10OFFAO? Or was the code required for OP's price? Either way basic price is now £429 so with code it's £419, and boots' page has also increased accordingly.

5 year parts and labour for the machine 10 year parts only on the compressor

The SA version is £359 with the code LKA10A Same price without water dispenser The one with water dispenser has a bigger fridge (18 litres bigger)

The fridge itself looks good however I echo the comments about dents. I would get the Sa version as that is plastic effect. This model dents too easily. Performance has been good and water dispenser is better designed than some others holds a decent amount and you can still fit a couple of bottles in the door unlike my in laws beko fridge.

...but that means spending more money? Vestel sets have their limitations in quality and performance of course, but they're also cheap, and people on limited budgets or who don't need all the bells & whistles can afford them. It's a bit unfair on the op to vote their deal cold just because it's a Vestel?

It's cheap and manufactured by vestel but you may as well spend more and get a hisense

Do you actually mean that?

Think I'm going to buy this for my mum. She uses a 720P 37" at the moment.

A 48” screen is perfect for a child’s bedroom? Erm, ok then....(shock)

Thanks for your message. I've found this video on YouTube that I'm going to try since it's quite a bit of wobble at a lower setting.

i get a bit of wobbling too, but its never been an issue/worry.... what speed are you mixing on? i never really take it over halfway. i suspect taking it higher that that isn't a good idea, but then why would you want to

Hi, I have trouble with this model with thicker dough. The head wobbles up and down when it's working. Any tips? Thanks

i make pizza dough regularly with this exact same model and it doesnt break a sweat. i use 1kg flour and 600ml water to make 6-9 dough balls. any more would have trouble fitting in the bowl if left to rest. if you're wanting to make larger batches in one go, then you may want to consider something more powerful
