About this deal

This is for the top 256GB model - the normal version is only 64GB(including the OS partition) which is not expandable and not a lot unless used to just watch media. £560 on Amazon and John Lewis for the Blue version and £679 from the Apple Store.

64GB is apparently all you need!

64gb shouldn't be a thing these days! Heat to balance the scales!

Do not think this should be cold. If you want an IPad then you have to manage your expectations around getting more than 64gb storage without a certain degree of pain. I don't see the point of getting the 64gb version of this model as you are paying £380 for a tablet which will last years - but if 64gb sounds bad now how do you think it will sound in 2 or 3 years time?

I get what you're saying and 64gb by today's standards is poor but.....

I don't use my phone or a tab for storage, I have a NAS for that so do not need to pay an extra £200 in this instance.

If i was to try and use it for offline storage, it would be the wrong tab obviously.

I ordered one, the 64 GB version is just too small. (edited)

Apple are doing it for £679, this shop are doing it for £515, and yet somehow 'cold'. Work that one out.

    Heat from me.

I know… plus I got £21.65 from TopCashback to sweeten the deal hehe.

How is this cold? And what 64GB you all are talking about? If clearly states 256GB. Agree- 64GB shouldn’t be a thing these days- even for children.

Its quite weird. People will vote very hot on the 64GB model at almost £400,but the 256GB model at just above £500 is cold.

But looks like 64GB is all you need on an iPad just like 8GB was all you needed on the M1 MacBook Air! (edited)

    Received mine today, happy days.

It came with a UK plug. (edited)

When manufacturers no longer do removable storage so they can milk you for much more than it costs, apple is the worst for this, it's always a cold from me.
