Thank you for posting. I know it's available for £279 from AO, but I'd rather pay a bit extra for the extra year warranty

Just ordered one. Recently my daughters ipad pro gen 2 (10.5) died, refused to take a charge.
Took it to a repair shop, who failed to fix it, and just made it even worse (lightning connector now pops out!)

So I order another one on ebay, supposedly a brand new battery, and this also refuses to hold its charge!
So I had to return it

I can't be bothered crossing my fingers hoping I don't get a lemon, would rather get something brand new (2021 tech) vs (pro, but 2017 tech), with a brand new battery and 2 years support.

What is the point of two years warranty? Statutory rights are 6 years anyway unless you break it. Well if you break it then it’s not covered anyway

Less argument, less time persuading retailer/manufacturer to do the right thing, etc..

Costco is worth paying a little extra for on electronics.

Compared to… Audi dealers, like Hardwood's making their own warranty t&c’s up to suit themselves (whether based on the weather, or perhaps to cherry pick profitable jobs with less ‘unpaid’ diagnosis), Mercedes Dealers refusing to honour agreements (contracts, verbal promises, Motor Trade Code & Guidelines), with John Lewis putting damaged returned stock back on sale as New In Box, Letting Agents pretending to check tenants referencing, consultants lying to justify unnecessary operations, builders in hock with NHBC to confuse/delay/deny warranty claims, insurance companies fabricating false evidence & changing stories, etc., it’s become more and more of a ball ache getting the very basics of legal rights or customer service. And the public seem oblivious, or happy to turn a blind eye… whoops was I ranting/venting, sorry… any media outlets wanting to cover these stories, I have massive dossier, including audio recordings and video. Alas, they will not be ‘advertiser friendly’ editorial content.
