Generally speaking, are these products safe to have in a flat., I’ve got a 3 bed and something that reaches up to 500 degrees centigrade at 2.5kw, I’m not sure I feel safe with it plugged into the mains in the kitchen.

disclaimer being I know very little about electrics, any electricians have a view on this as the wife keeps looking and wants one….
