Bought one on market place 2 days ago at 10%, any chance they will increase it to 20% or best to return and by again...? Great headset for the price, missing bluetooth but great mic quality and comfort.

They matched the new discount and provided refund without returns. Very nice.

Tempted as nova pro wireless never went on sale! How do these compare if anyone can help?

Old comment but if youre still curious i tested both and the a50 blew the nova pro out of the water when it comes to audio quality. The nova pro has other nicities though, such as a better battery life, switchable batteries, bluetooth, 3.5mm jack etc.

Decent headset. I returned mine however since once the top plastic bit pops out (2 days use for me) it will FORVER pop off while you are gaming meaning the headset will drop down your face during gameplay.

Other than that it's a decent headset. However I went back to my DAC Amp + Studio headset and gosh darn the quality of 'gaming' headsets is absolute garbage compared.

I will forever recommend a cheap studio headset and a decent DAC.

beware of awful firmware update experience you can easily brick them and they are very often stop connecting to the base station. i had 3 of these over the past 2 years same issues every time.

Yep, common forum story with the A50 (the gen4 at least). There are some days it just refuses to work, have to go through a litany of fixes. (edited)

How does this headset compare to the Steelseries Arctis Pro Wireless which I currently have?

    Dose this work on xbox

Yes. I ordered one for ps5 and received the Xbox version in a ps4 box. (edited)

Said this before on other threads for a50's. Don't get them for ps5 unless you want to spend another £20 on an adapter and also lose HDMI 2.1. These require an optical input on console to work well, without they sound extremely flat. For PC i'm still impressed, I bought like 4-5 years ago for 3x the price

    Do they work for Xbox?

My experience on these is short lived - previous user had damaged it and returned it, Amazon clearly didn't properly check. I guess it's luck of the draw but dissapointing either way.
