3 had a grainy screen but brilliant dedicated mini woofers for bass
The 888 of the 5 runs hot and the split battery makes life shorter.
But the ROG 5 is still the best in terms of audio. DAC & speaker hardware peaked with 5.
That being said, all ROG Phones have really common SIM connectivity issues. (As well as the fingerprint issues but that can be fixed easily)
I am unable to use my SIM in both my ROG Phone 5s, one simply does not pick it up, the other always drops signal/poor.
My ROG 7 arrived last weekend.
Got the same ram/storage spec as this for less, direct from ASUS aliexpress.
The bass performance is noticeably better than the 6, but sounds more artificial than the 5.
There is still no fix for the variety of bugs that arrived with Android 12 Zen UI. The biggest nitpick/petty thing I have about this would be gboard round popups and window animation speed resetting.
I will be selling on my ROG 7 after just 20 minutes of use lol
I love my ROG Phones but I have now made the switch to Samsung. Not that One UI is great, but every other software experience is just below average.

Not just this, on the topic of software, ASUS have now removed the ability to manually update your phone since most of their China sold phones do not support OTA updates. They removed all raw update files for their older phones on their product pages. (edited)
