    Asus says this laptop has one sodimm slot and can be upgraded to 24gb, so it looks like it comes with 8gb soldered and an 8gb dimm.

    I'd buy Asus rather than Lenovo any day. If you buy a laptop from John Lewis, you get 2 year guarantee, if it goes wrong, send it back to them, and they'll sort it out. (edited)
