I thought 7a and s23 was same size but guess not, shame about the samsung s23 banana gate issue otherwise id have ordered that last week.
Still feels like zenfone 9 should cost £350-450 if not less, will be interesting to see how 10 is.
I still think the Zen 9 is way overpriced now that the 10 is out also, its £450ish but feels a £350 handset.
Does the Zen have an easy mirrorcast/cast to TV feature? I found out the hard way that the pixel phones do not have it.
The S23 still sounds a worthy choice but the bananagate camera fault thing is a worry, but I guess one big advantage is the S23 will still fetch excellent trade in prices and the price will hold in 1 or 2 years time, not sure the Zen fones will hold their price in weight.
The problem is that ASUS has a history of poorly handling bugs on essential functions: phone calls, cell reception (especially 4G and VoLTE), etc. Their forums are full of ignored reports.
Its a great phone but it sounds like the asus forums mention lots of software bugs which Asus does not appear to be on top off.
Many have a "one handed mode" which temporarily shrinks the size of the usable screen. On my S23+, I just swipe down from the bottom middle of the phone
Having said that google pixel 7/7a and even Samsung S23 range have some issues be it software and hardware. The samsung s23 bananagate faulty camera put me off the S23 series and G7 series modem reception issues.
Actually if you see a post below even the Zenfone 9 has some reception and other connectivity issues its simply mind blowing companies can release £600-800 mobiles that are almost not quality tested and then patched via software updates of the hardware fault is fixed on the next model I can only assume its since they want us to buy a new phone each year lol (edited)
