Bought this a couple of years ago. Not really sure if it works. Basically just a Citronella body spray.

While on holiday in Ibiza spotted a very similar (but much cheaper) product in Lidl there.

Never seen this in a UK Lidl but will keep eyes out!

If it's good enough for the SAS, it's good enough for me.

I travelled around the Scottish Highlands notorious for midgies and unfortunately didn't find it effective at all.

I'd add price comparisons but I'm currently in the middle of a very confusing round the houses conversation with Amazon (where the guy's not listening to me...) (Nothing to do with this Deal, but I'm distracted atm).

edit: Added some prices - they're price-matching Superdrug. (edited)

Oh well, that didn't last long. I ordered late last night so maybe Amazon will add more.

Yeah, just spotted that. Waiting for Amazon to phone me back now (disastrous delivery situation)...

I notified the MODS and they have now corrected the link back to the correct supplier amazon direct. How odd.

It's changing from out of stock then to longer delivery time, I think (when it changes to a readily-available third-party seller option) - it's reverted back to In Stock again (all sold by Amazon). Maybe the stock checker (whatever it is) is a bit glitchy today. (edited)

I read once that the SAS use this, so I bought a box, but didn't find it made one iota of difference to the mosquitoes of southern France.

Maybe I misunderstood and they meant Scandinavian flight attendants. I'm worried if I Google that I may become distracted by pursuing further research.

Yeah. I've ordered this for myself (got terrible midge bites a summer ago, all over my legs) though my partner says it doesn't work with him.

As he's on steroids (auto-immune disease, not lifting) I think it makes him irresistible to the critters.

Thanks! Perfect timing for my holiday

It doesn’t work as a repellent I always get bitten with it.

    £4.99 today, peeps, expired

I'm in the Highlands on and off so will update what I think of it. My legs were bitten to bits the other summer.

Welp, mine turned up in an emulsified state (looks more like lotion than oil spray) but going by other Amazon reviews I'll leave it overnight and see if it reverts back to how it's supposed to be.

Done enough moaning at Amazon this week

Sure enough, left it in the bathroom overnight - it looks like a clear oil now.
