After weeks of searching every corner of the internet for my son's first gaming computer and finding nothing but half baked offers with no OS included, no/tiny hard drive/SSD, slow RAM, no WiFi, no CPU cooler... Basically a half finished PC. I give you the fruits of my labor.

A respectable PC in its own right with some reasonably priced add-ons that make it a good all rounder

Starting at £799.99 for the stock 3060ti build (a very fair price) and ending up at £1155.89 (see photos) with my preferred upgrades, a 165hz monitor and other peripherals, I am very happy with my purchase.

Nvidia 40 series is about to be released and ETH merge causing lower interest in graphic card mining, I suggest wait a few weeks for price to settle to get better 30 serious card

You've spent a tonne of cash on some 'upgrades' that wont really be making any difference in terms of performance, £1150 for a 11th gen 3060ti system isn't good value I hate to say.

Example: hotukdeals.com/dea…625 (Haven't checked if thats still available but its only 11 days ago)

plus that monitor is basically the same price, only thing you're really missing is a 2tb mechanical drive (But a bigger nvme) a wifi card (cheap) and a poor keyboard (cheap)

Hope you're happy with it when you get it but think you could have done much better. (edited)

    Yes, that PC is better...

But that's without Windows, comes with the stock cooler, half the storage, slower RAM and includes nothing but the tower. Going to be hard to play without a screen and keyboard.

Once you add all that up you are probably in excess off £1,700 (especially if you want a monitor to compliment the increased frame rate)

The 11400f and 3060ti has about 1-2% bottleneck, costs around £600 less and plays all AAA titles at 1080p (high settings) at 60fps+ (most in excess of 100fps)

I think my 10 year old will thoroughly wet himself when he opens it

I've just bought the Apple Macbook Air M1 £949 iStore, way better than Windows and the build quality is far superior, boots up in 1 second too. (edited)

Yup, one of the Costco offers was my frontrunner for a few days while this was out of stock. Then the evening I went to buy the PC I checked one last time and this was back in stock winner!!

    Any good pali deals pls.?

I spent quite some time playing with pali looking at various different options before buying this PC. I found that if you have a fair knowledge about the workings of a PC you can get a good deal on the bones of everything but might have to do some tinkering yourself (adding OS, hard drive, sourcing peripherals...)

But if you want click a button and a great PC turns up a few days later, this one is a good bet
