In 1862, after 10 years of perfecting his rums, Don Facundo Bacardi Masso introduced the world to his Bacardi Carta Blanca Rum
The taste of rum inspired cocktail pioneers to invent some of the world's most famous recipes including the original
Rum masters age both heavy and light tasting rums in oak barrels under the caribbean sun which gives the rum characteristic hints of vanilla and almond
Don facundo perfected the charcoal filtration system over a century ago, it's this process that gives the white rum its classic smooth texture and colour
After charcoal filtration, the rum masters mix different rums to create the perfect carta blanca blend

Given the state of politics in the west id just take that as one side of the story.
Cuba is likely another US vassel state now so who's to say if this brand is actually bad, good or indifferent.
Always listen to both sides and then do your own research before judging.

Plus, lets face it. If we all took the moral high ground everytime we wouldnt buy anything.
And what companies like this get upto are small fry compared to bigger industries or governments.

Great Rum especially for mixing as it's smoother & doesn't over power IMO.
I drink it cos I like the taste of it, simple as that.
Don't care where it's made or by who ... Most drinks companies are owned by multinationals now anyhow. Bacardi was forced to move to Mexico not out of choice btw.
Yes, there's other rums out there so each to your own & raise a glass for choice 😁

Why do they permit the bacardi building to remain in Havana
