Description
Baileys is the original and still the most-popular Irish cream liqueur worldwide. Over 2,000 glasses are enjoyed every minute around the globe. Drawing on Irish traditions and knowledge in distilling and dairy, the combination of triple-distilled Irish whiskey and rich, luxurious Irish cream took over four years to perfect. Baileys is the ultimate Irish cream liqueur, that blends the finest aged Irish whiskey with fresh dairy cream and a hint of cocoa and vanilla.

Enjoy the smooth, velvety taste of Baileys on its own or over ice. For a delicious twist, add Baileys to your favourite coffee or pour over vanilla ice cream for an indulgent treat.

Strange that their clubcard offer on the 1 litre is £13. Difficult to see why anyone would choose that over this one which works out at £11.43 a litre.

You are assuming people have great arithmetic skills or understand the concept of unit price. Both are a rarity, especially in the younger generation.

This was £7.50 Club Card Price early this morning. I noticed the price change (to £8.00) when I went on to add things to my order a couple of hours ago.

I wonder if the £9.50 1 litre clubcard offer will be back in a few weeks. I'm going to give this one a miss.

unlikely to be that price point, given retail price has increased since last year, probably somewhere between £10 and £11 for a 1 litre offer when the supermarkets run it.

seriously? they've made a 50p "error" and they've changed the price rather than just taking it? every little helps - "Tesco".

I got 4 for Xmas gifts at £7.50 clubcard price.

The 50p discrepancy doesn’t matter a hoot in Scotland as we never get the same decent price cuts on alcohol up here. A few months ago Tesco had 1lt offers for £18.50 on gin, Bacardi and vodka, Clubcard prices up here were £21.50.

I love reading about Scottish minimum prices on every alcohol deal…

Decent price but we all know it will be slightly cheaper in the coming weeks. Good if you can't wait. Voted hot.

Or even exactly the same price.

    A Tower Crest cocktail.

Take an original, tall, highball glass and brim it with ice. Pour the Baileys first and then an equal amount of vodka - the resulting liquid should rest a moment from the top of the glass. Stir if you choose.

Less cream, more alcohol and a hell of a flavour.

    Please drink responsibly... (edited)

Excellent deal. My mother is law arrived from Ireland yesterday. I told her to not spend the €15 on a 700ml Baileys at Duty Free as it's cheaper at Tesco over here!
  24. eric_kk's avatar
Fantastic! Got 2 bottles from Glasgow store. Heat added! The 1l for £13 which cost more per litre than the 70cl one. (edited)

Try to keep up. We covered this yesterday.

I can't recall having seen it this cheap before - given the experience of everyone here do you all think it likely that we'll see a big year of discounting on spirits, etc. up to Xmas given the horrific economic climate? If so I suspect it's time to buy shares in companies that make liver dialysis machines just quietly.
