I've noticed listings elsewhere for the same product but with PS/PC in the title. Does that mean certain models are locked to one platform? As in, if I buy this one, I can only use it on an Xbox and not on my PC? And what about connecting it to mobile etc.?

The grey mist colour available for £120 at Game, by the way.

Is it just me, or do these seem to be a bargain even if only intending to use them as music headphones? Especially when you consider the price of Beats and the like. Dayuum I'm tempted...

Anyone know if these are similar/basically the same as the Beoplay HX? If not what have they sacrificed from a music stand point to make them ideal for gamers? (edited)

Don't know but compared to a Sony MX3 they sound like a cat scratching a blackboard.

The garbage you read about them is just a bunch of skint people who thought they got a deal, that have never even heard qn alternative in this price range.

    These are rubbish.
Connection issues, crappy app, rubbish mic audio quality, worse than the official wireless Microsoft ones.

I fell for the nonsense about these being better than the steelseries arctis nova pro etc.

The only good thing about them is they aren't horrible slabs of tacky plastic like every other gaming headset. When your best quality is just that it isn't as bad as the competition, you know you have a turkey.

Do not buy, the price is ludicrous, the RRP is flying pig territory.

    £50-£60 value, tops. (edited)

Judging by the comments these seem great

I think it's one of those cases of a brand trying to branch out into a market that they've no experience of or clue about.

What's worse is they seem to have managed to ruin the part they were good at when adding the rest.

I'm just glad I asked/researched as I was close to biting.

When connected to PC via xbox dingle does it come up as two audio channels (I.e voice and game) which you can easily change the balence?
