Buy some good screw in funky plugs from AliExpress for less. Had them delivered, look and fit good and delivered within the week which was surprising

The cork stoppers on a whisky bottle fit just as nicely and look pretty sweet on an old steel frame bike. Got through 4 bottles of Laphroaig in order to have enough for my Dawes Super Galaxy tandem

When I did my first Triathlon I didn't even know these were a thing and I had one missing. They wouldn't let me into transition. It was a very stressful half hour. I managed to find someone with some strong tape and went over the hole a few times. They let me in then. I sure do check them each time now!

There is a VERY good reason why they won't let you enter a race with a missing barend. There have been SERIOUS accidents involving them - injuries can be fatal or worse (don't make me share that one)!

Good price. If your bike or your kids bike is missing a barend you MUST replace it ASAP - there have been serious injuries caused by missing barends. (edited)
