About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
7% off for 8 keg bundle for Krups The Sub. Not a huge savings (for what is an expensive pound per pint ratio but delivers great taste compare to bottles), might help some sub owners out there.

sorted byI went through the whole “I need one of these” then decided against it because of the cost. Then I looked at the Perfect Draft which was even more money.
The Pinter looks like it could be the winning formula, but until they can produce a unit that refrigerates the beer, that’s no good either.
In the end, I just bought a Sub. Yes it’s an expensive way of drinking at home, but I’ve not had a holiday for over two years so I though “**** it”. (edited)
Just sold mine for £100 in very used condition.
When I first bought it you could buy a pack of Heiniken subs from Amazon. Since then over the past year they are the only place that stocks them and the price has made it pointless.
I'm trying to work out an affordable way to keep a small keg cold and have a proper set up. Wouldn't go near Beerwulf again, even if it was free.
Yeah sold mine in April for £130. Paid £70 on a black Friday deal a couple of years ago. I now have a Perfect draft now. Alot better in my opinion.
Personally if you know anyone on the European mainland you can collect from, then you will save a small fortune. For now, the quality of beer I get is so high, I’m happy to also swallow a slightly galling cost. I’ll never drink a can of beer again.
All the specials say that, it will be fine.
Enjoy, look out for the Triple too!
I highly recommend the Hapkins!
Sure some are more expensive like chouffe and delirium but compare to the 6x330ml price online of those beers and it's about the same but it's draft quality and there are plenty other options much cheaper.
If you want to just drink cheap pißwasser stick to
UK brewed lager cans from the supermarket.
It's crap.
La chouffe is excellent, bought one to try as a treat and became an instant favourite.
In my opinion the sub is perfect for the Belgian blondes. Perfect size.
The Lente Bock is also good for a tenner.
Really?? It was the desperados putting me off getting it
Actually my mistake. Heineken is 8.49 and the moretti is 8.99 (there is a different moretti for 8.49 though)
Free shipping when you buy 8 beers
I disagree.
I've owned a sub and now own a perfect draft. The perfect draft constantly gets voted hot. Imo the perfect draft is better then the sub.
That's one of the main issues... finish work nip to tesco and pay £8.50 for one.... that would be fine... but having to pre plan and spend over £60 on beer just so you can use it again I'd rubbish
Lowenbrau, Belguim Stella, Spaten, Leffe, Juliper, Hertog Jan ain't IPA's
Agreed they're not IPA, but they are not Belgian abbaye either (apart from Leffe, which is superb), rather mid alcohol content lager to my taste around the 5% abv mark. Nothing wrong with those beers but I prefer a strong refermented one (I wish the Leffe was available on the sub, I'm actually considering the perfect draft just for it!!!). That's why I like the sub, a 2 litre keg at 8% plus like a Hapkins is more than enough to handle for a session (for me anyway, I'm a lightweight!). Each to their own, whichever beer dispenser you choose you pay over the odds for the beer. My main point is the shocking lack of choice in UK considering what you can get in mainland Europe. Brexit is probably not gonna help my case to get more choice at a reasonable price!
On what basis?
Absolute no logic in that statement.
Why would their quality have anything to do with reach of distribution and price of product?
The very fact they are ridiculously popular while maintaining an inflexible price point is reason enough that they are fantastic machines.
Where did I mention quality ?

I meant good in the desirability and value of the product - ie it doesn't have mass market appeal hence the extortionate price of the unit and very limited availability along with high cost of the beer.
If it was all it's cracked up to be every supermarket chain would be flogging the system and we'd all be beering it at home that way.
