I bought this a few months ago, something to make a quick and easy americano from in a morning (I also own a Sage Barista Pro, several pour over makers, a filter machine and two Aeropresses, but need the quickest brew possible first thing in the morning). It's not bad for a machine making an automated pretend espresso shot. You don't get a lot of options to customise and if you know anything about espresso, you'll realise it can't really do a lot. It doses the same amount of coffee no matter what, seems to be about 8-9g per extraction. You can set the amount of water per shot on both the small and large buttons. These buttons only change the amount of water going through the 8g dose, so you either get a shorter, stronger shot, or a longer, weaker shot. If you want a double espresso it's best to program the button to dose enough water so that you can just do two separate shots. It doesn't take long. Just keep the grinder at its finest setting. In the end though, it's a cheap, simple machine that makes faux-espresso that tastes okay with a decent bean, quite quickly, and is pretty easy to keep clean too. (edited)
