I just bought the quick-change adapter on its own for £18 and now I find it bundled with a hole saw (albeit not a very useful size) for £5 less.
I'm livid but still think it's good for someone who's not already sunk money on it.

Note: this is the usual price for this item somehow but it's still good value.

    No but you can buy the stems that convert standard holesaws Amazon do them for about a tenner.

    I got one of these on sale a while back, does a good job. Need it to make holes in the back of a sideboard/TV cabinet for the plugs to come through the back. Good size for that

    Says 68mm core on Amazon, then 51mm starter kits below, I'm I missing something ?

    Yes, you're right. It's very odd that it says 51mm diameter starter kit. I can only think 51mmis a mistake and perhaps it's the depth of the 68mm hole saw but I'd say it's definitely 68mm holesaw as it says in the title and in the included components too. (edited)

    These are excellent hole saws, the quick release fitting is great, makes it's so quick to remove the waste cut out compared to the standard type of Starrett hole saw.

    Although this is good value it's not much use unless you have a job only drilling 68mm holes. Amazon do discount the larger Bosch sets which include a bunch of different sizes and the prices can be very good so I would set up a price watch on those and wait. If you check past deals on here you can see sets of 11 hole saws for £50 - £85 which is great value
