About this item
  • NOISE CANCELLING WIRELESS HEADPHONES: The perfect balance of quiet, comfort, and sound. Bose uses tiny mics to measure, compare, and react to outside noise, cancelling it with opposite signals. Bluetooth range-up to 9 m (30 feet).
  • HIGH-FIDELITY AUDIO: The TriPort acoustic architecture offers depth and fullness. Volume-optimized Active EQ maintains balanced performance at any volume, so bass stays consistent when turned down and the music remains clear when turned up.
  • QUIET AND AWARE MODES: Choose Quiet Mode for full noise cancelling, or Aware Mode to bring the outside into the around ear headphones and hear your environment and your music at the same time.
  • UP TO 22 HOURS BATTERY LIFE: Enjoy 22 hours of battery life from a single charge. A quick 15-minute charge offers 3 hours when you’re on the go, or plug in the included audio cable to listen for even longer in wired mode.
  • PERSONALIZE YOUR AUDIO: Adjustable EQ allows you to set the bass, mid-range, and treble levels to your personal preferences or select one of several preset options.
  • BOSE SIMPLESYNC TECHNOLOGY: SimpleSync pairs your Bose QuietComfort 45 headphones with select Bose smart soundbars for a personal TV listening experience. Independent volume controls allow you to lower or mute your soundbar while keeping your headphones as loud as you like.Away from your phone? Press and hold the Bluetooth button on each device to sync their sound. Already got a group going? Link by pressing the Action button to connect at a moment’s notice.

How adjustable is the bass? I prefer to turn it down (I'm old)

i still have my Bose QC 35 still love them. looking at the feature wise apart from USB C charging and a slightly increase of battery life they are exactly the same. not worth an upgrade. there is some other minor changes but if you not got a pair i would highly recommend them.

One common complaint seems to be these are unusable outside due to wind noise and the ANC?

This is my biggest complaint with them. When walking anywhere outside, even the slightest wind noise is picked up and overwhelms anything you’re listening to. Can’t turn off ANC either with these. Either transparency mode or noise cancelling, no other option (think the QC35 had ANC off, why not these?).

Also absolutely terrible for video/phone calls when outside. Constantly asked “what was that? Can’t hear you well” so need to disconnect and use my phone directly: “ah that’s much better!”

Based on the comments there it looks like the the QC se is identical to these except for having a soft case rather than a hard case

Mine arrived today. After ordering I wondered if I’d done the right thing as I already have some Airpod Pro 2s which I thought sounded Ok. These absolute blow the Airpods away, they sound fantastic. The Airpods are great for compactness but I’ll be using these when I really want to sit and listen to the music.

I have the first gen QC 35s and love them, but looking to get a pair of earbuds now for the golf course. Was going to pull the trigger on AAPP2 but based on your comment I might look at the QC earbuds II instead.

Anyone have any experience of these against the Sony XM5’s? These look better but I’ve read the Sony’s have better performance?

I tried both. I opted for the xm5's. For me, they're a more rounded package and felt better for me. All subjective, of course.

I remember trying a pair of QuietComforts several years ago and being incredibly impressed but put off by the fact you could only get them with wires back then. Never tried these but if they are as good as the wired pair I tried then I’ll be very happy.

I’ve not really been looking for a pair so not sure if this is even a good price. Going by the cost of the other colours, I’m guessing it is. What do these normally go for?

    Thanks

Good price. About what I paid this time last year on another deal. Love mine.

To the experts here, I need the best value for money solid headphones for my first Legion laptop both for occasional gaming and all rounder use. Ideally below £60,maximum £80 if really worth, it must have ANC and both wireless & wired connections. Practical and comfy to the ears with balanced crisp sound. I tend to prefer middle to high notes and not obsessed with huge bass. Please advise me,too many to choose..

You are going to struggle to get all of that for under £100...
