I wouldn't say it's lovely but it is nice.
It lacks deepness or something like that.
    Very easy to drink though.
I tried it once a few months back (I mean, I bought myself a bottle) and for me there are better drinks out there at this price range. Worth a try though

I use this for making a cocktail for my wife

    50ml bushmills Caribbean
    50ml Malibu
    200ml Tesco pineapple juice

Is this nice on the rocks or rough and to be used mixed?

Its a nice enough tipple but I would drink it without ice and a teaspoon of water.

It is very useful in cocktails and blends really well in a subtle way.

As you would expect (as its Kitty's post) this is a good price but I would not pay any higher than this price point.

When the American family arrive in the next few months, this will be well hidden behind the Green Spot, Jameson's, Redbreast, Midleton an auld favourite Powers.

    But worth trying

I would drink most whisky neat but I wouldn’t with this. It’s uncomplicated. Better with the glenlivet Caribbean reserve. That’s said at this price is a better mixer than most and fine with ice with a hint of something different but not worth more than £20
