Silver rooms can be pretty grim in my experience. Not as bad a Pontins room by any means. But it's very basic accommodation so worth knowing that before booking. Especially if you have neurodiverse kids.

Yeah they look ok in the photos (well they would wouldn't they) last time we went to Butlins, think it was 8 years ago we stayed in a newer silver room which was nice but I remember seeing the blocks for the std accommodation and reminiscing thinking they're the accommodation blocks from when my parents took us in the 70's albeit refurbished I suppose as long as they're clean and relatively recently decorated they'd be fine.

Aren't school holidays the two week after? I know they are where I live but not sure whether this is national or not. (edited)

Anyone know of food options in Skegness if not buying on the Butlins site.

The 2 best chip shops in Skeggy are Salts on Roman Bank or the Seaview chippy near the sea front. The Gandhi is the best Indian restaurant / takeaway.

The accommodation at Skegness is really poor damp and smelly

If you have the time off then the 22nd Apr is £46 That's cheaper than renting

Great deal if your kids break up before Easter.

All the schools around my area and the surrounding areas don’t break up till the week after where the prices increase 5 fold

We just spent 4 days in Butlins Bognor Regis and for the price and for the kids it was really great. Lots of shows and games for free. Rooms as well for the price was good. Next time we will take tracksuits and cider to fit in haha But joking aside it was great.

This is a cracking deal especially for school holidays. How old are your kids? Mine could've stayed on for another week with all the entertainment provided and funfair.

Just noticed my same week and apartment in April was now £225 cheaper than what I paid in October so I have messaged then and hopefully they will honour the price match guarantee.

Shame it's the wrong week for us (Easter Hols now seem all over the place). Can't see you can complain for the price, my kids would love it. Four days of free rides, a pool and you're not far from Skegness itself.

Might not suit Hyacinth Bucket, but I'm a bit gutted we can't go

A alot of holiday parks seem to be reducing prices this year, maybe the cost of living is hitting people harder now and choosing not to take as many or any holidays

Let me know which ones as I certainly don't see that myself!!!

Bear in mind the pool is half broken at the moment, you only get one 75min session per week and not everything is open

It’s a joke really, the pool has been broken since November.

The shows/activities including swimming may also be fully booked (booking opens 4 weeks prior to the break). They have some availability on the day but it’s wait (get there early) and then wait more until everyone who has booked has entered.

Swimming pool is closed. Only rides and toddler pool is open. So if you’ve got older kids/teens may be disappointed
