    My understanding is that new Scottish regs. require non-user replaceable battery in CO detectors, which this one doesn't mention. Anyone confirm?

    I agree, my understanding is...

    All alarms must be powered either from the mains electricity circuit or by a sealed battery lasting the full lifespan of the alarm.
