No solar. Its going to a tough buy if you want to keep bluetooth hooked upto it constantly.

Bluetooth for these sort of watches is a bit of a gimmick. You'll play around with it when you first get the watch but then you'll forget the feature existed once you get it set up correctly, customised and added all the timezones that you could want.

2 year battery life isnt the greatest either.

BT is a gimmick. I have 2 Edifices in this model range with the same module and never bother turning the BT on. The one advantage of this is that the battery life will be much longer than two years specced with a CR2016 batt. I estimate at least 5 yrs.

Also these watches will auto adjust to DST/standard time without BT turned on. (edited)

I really like this but I've never seen an edifice that looks as good in real life as in the pictures

Maybe Casio's earlier Edifices 10+ years ago did. The Edifice line used to be a pretty premium line of watches that has now gotten pretty watered down over the years.

This is my old edifice here... It was love at first sight and I saved up an entire year just to afford it

These days, I'd be looking at Casio's MT-G line of watches instead of Edifice. MT-G seem to have replaced what Edifice used to be.

The instructions for the buttons on the watch ruins a beautiful looking watch for me.
