This is a fantastic series and if you haven't seen it the OP is helping you out. If you have seen it you will probably be ...... happy, if that is the right word, to watch it again.

If you are going to do that then the best way is in 4k UHD.

Have some heat, the good sort.

Agreed. Best series for a real event. Listening to the audiobook "Midnight in Chernobyl" gives you a very detailed version of events but takes nothing away from the series.

When I watch something like this, the sheer quality of the script, the acting, the cinematography, the sound track it makes it difficult for me to understand how movie/TV professionals can produce far too often other things that are utter trash that is badly written and badly acted, it is so obvious they must realise while the are marking it. If you have not watched this mini-serious, please do, I didn't know how close northern and western Europe came to destruction with millions of dead. (edited)

Yikes.....absolutely immense series as mentioned but I could only watch it the once. Scary stuff but so well directed, edited, acted etc.

Great series, really shows the versatility of Paul Ritter (RIP) as an actor. Watching Friday Night Dinner, you wouldn't have thought he'd be so capable of delivering this role so perfectly.
