About this deal

Good price for this lightweight, solar powered watch.
The Citizen mens watch AW1641-81X is a modern companion from the model series Eco-Drive Titanium 41mm. A perfect choice if you are looking for a timepiece with a contemporary look.

The watch has a silver case, made of titanium, which looks like a real eye-catcher thanks to the matted, polished surface.

The round case is 41 mm wide and 9 mm height and, depending on individual taste, will adorn almost any wrist. The bezel, which is fixed, stands out discreetly from the case. The case back of the watch is a titanium bottom, which sets the final point for a coherent design.

The mineral glass offers extensive protection against accidental scratches and damage. Underneath, the dial of your new dream watch is green.

The Citizen AW1641-81X has Illum. hands, Illum. indexes, which make it easy to read even in poor lighting conditions. At the heart of this timepiece is an solar movement (quartz) that, as is usual for Citizen watches, guarantees precise timekeeping and provides the following functions: hour, minute, second, date.

Are they making these eco-drive watches to be useful for few years? I had few different Citizen Eco-Drive watches and they won't recharge battery after 3 and another one after 4 years. The batteries/capacitors inside just won't accept solar charge and needs to be replaced. At the cost of £27 each if done by yourself or £89 if you send them to Citizen.
My old, year 1997, Eco-Drive World Time Titanium JRO C605 still runs without problem of charging itself..

Mine has had one capacitor change in 23 years or so.

So tempted to replace my old Citizen! Deals on the BN0241 and BN0118 have dried up! (edited)

Mineral glass otherwise would be almost perfect everyday watch

Mineral glass isn’t an issue - I don’t know anybody whose actually broken one - and even if sapgorevif you clout it THAT heavily it’ll break

Nice, I made decision, ordered it and received an empty package. Literally just an empty box. What is strange package was sent from Italy. (edited)
