I've always wanted to go to Ireland. What's the best way to get there from London? I could drive, but are there cheap flights from Luton or Stansted maybe? and then i Presume drive from Belfast or something?

Stanstead to derry airport, rent a car, it’s around a 40 min drive.

Love Ballyliffin! I've not stayed at the lodge but have eaten and drunk there many times, really nice place and this seems a great deal. Also, check out Nancy's Barn, fantastic food. Ballyliffin is in the north of Ireland, but in the Republic (so Euros required) and it's more often than not cold, windy and wet, but don't let that put you off, it's part of the charm (really).

Tempting. Only 15 mins drive from Carndonagh which is a good small town. (edited)

An hour's drive from me. If any of you are into golf there are a couple of stunning courses there.
