Description
Contigo Byron 2.0 Thermal Mug 470 ml

Taking beverages on-the-go is an important part of a busy lifestyle, but it can be frustrating when a travel mug leaks, leaving a stain on a favourite shirt or blouse. The NEW Contigo SNAPSEAL™ Travel Mug gives confidence that stains won’t slow down the day. With a quick snap of the lid, the mug seals for 100% leak-proof performance. Simply push up slightly on the tab to open for drinking. Press the tab back down to completely seal the mug against leaks.

The Contigo SNAPSEAL™ Travel Mug is designed for an easy, one-handed drinking experience. All you need to do is pop the top to drink. There’s no lid to unscrew or remove—just make sure to snap it closed after you’re done sipping to seal the leak-proof lid. However you prefer it, your coffee stays hot up to 7 hours or cold up to 18 thanks to THERMALOCK™ vacuum insulation. This mug is designed to fit in most car cupholders and features a grip to easily grab and go. This stainless-steel travel mug has a top rack dishwasher-safe lid and the body is hand-wash only.

Brilliant tumbler but I’ve had leak issues. I’d still recommend it, but EVERY time you take the lid off, check the seal is flat. It gets rucked up and can even twist causing it to leak. If you ensure the seal is flat, it works brilliantly and keeps warmer longer than any other tumbler I’ve had.

Got mine 4 years ago at this price. The best travel mug I've had and still going strong. No leaks or issues. Heat added

Don't you mean heat retained? (edited)

I can vouch for this. It's good quality, build, no leak issues and retains the heat. I've had mine for over a year now.

I agree with no leak part but claims of keeping hot and cold i personally disagree with. I have two (purchased separately) and neither are good on keeping the temp... probably an hour or so would be best ... better than thermos due to the easy sip option at top

This is also my experience. I also have two of them, they look the part and the lid is well designed and leakproof, but they are pretty useless in retaining heat after an hour.

This is the best version. Easily keeps my coffee hot for 4 hours, never leaks, been dropped multiple times, dented but not broken. Had mine for 3 years.

Might bag another just so I have a new shiny one in a different colour.

It's good but the snapseal can open with bump, had this happen several times on bus, catches hand pole and luckily only leaked inside the outer bag pocket and not burnt anyone accidentally. I don't use it out and about, got me paranoid, I'm using a button cup that's secure and not accidentally opens.

The auto seal contigo are much better than these in all aspects... Except they are £20.

Well worth spending more in my opinion.

Have one of these and they are excellent, but i do prefer the Autoseal version.

Is this the version where the seal/blocker lids all the way up out the way or just partially. Don't like the latter.

    Is this the good version?
    turkey_man's avatar
No, that one's double the price. Was on offer at Amazon for less than £20 yesterday, might still be that price.

I was fed up with my drinks in mugs going cold and bought one of these. Holds a lot and keeps hot for ages.
