You lot sure about those free returns? I got my parcel today and on the paperwork it says "We are not liable for the costs incurred for the return of goods for either size or colour exchanges or standard refunds".

I like some of you ordered two sizes of each item with a view to returning the non-fitting garments. That line suggests otherwise?

When you say you got "free postage with 10% discount", did you mean 'as well as' or that the 10% offsets the postage cost?

RRP for craghoppers is laughable - right up there with sports direct. For less than £25 though it looks a reasonable buy.

which size should i get if I am between M and L, do they run on the large …which size should i get if I am between M and L, do they run on the large or small side?

Mine just arrived- great coat, really pleased with it. I bought XL (which is really just about my size, that or Large- and I'm not particularly chunky- 6'5" and 98Kg), and it's not big enough (too tight on the chest and not enough arm flexibility- even without a thick jumper) so it's going back. Free returns so have ordered an XXL and an XXXL to see which is best. No additional postage for two of them so makes more sense doing that than having to order another one if I get it wrong again.

So you could get two and send one back, or if you can't be bothered with that and want to just buy once I'd suggest you go for the larger size (or even one larger again).

*WARNING* i ordered 6 jackets on the 22nd & 23rd from debenhams (they price matched the deals before) to get the free postage.Luckily i rechecked the prices on craghoppers today and noticed they lowered the prices yet again on 3 of them by another10% off ,the deals i previously bought where 50% & 60% off.

I also noticed they are now offering free postage for over £50 spent and that was not offered 2 days ago,so i suggest you recheck prices if you bought any items off debenhams or craghoppers.

I now have now have 9 jackets ordered coming to £252 So i will be whisking at least 3 of the jackets back to debenhams for a refund and saving another £26.

Certain styles and colours of trousers are way cheaper at Amazon.
£22.50 (free P&P) at Amazon as opposed to the £27 (BF sale, but wrong length) or the £45 (correct waist/length/colour) in my case, if bought at the Craghoppers site.

Still think this clothing is quite gimmicky. And I say that as I'm actually from Malaysia and lived in a house where mosquitos were a real problem because we lived near large areas of bushes and grass where water could collect - only uncovered areas were ever bitten.

I think it may be subjective. There are some people that are absolutely irresistible to mosquitoes (me) so for them any area not protected with deet or otherwise is a viable target. If you think about it, bigger mozzies will have a longer proboscis capable of penetrating all but the tightest weave if they're determined to find a way through.

I do think the NosiLife gear has some merit though, as it's very thin so you can wear it in the heat and it does have repellent properties as shown last weekend where I managed to stay bite free wearing NosiLife shirt and trousers yet my wife was bitten through her clothing. Only anecdotal obviously but it's rare for me to escape bite free at times when she's been bitten.

Yeah, LOL!!! Because he didn't actually do anything before his TV … Yeah, LOL!!! Because he didn't actually do anything before his TV career...On 16 May 1998, Grylls achieved his childhood dream of climbing to the summit of Mount Everest in Nepal, 18 months after breaking three vertebrae in a parachuting accident.[26] At 23, he was at the time among the youngest people to have achieved this feat. There is some dispute over whether he was the youngest Briton to have done so, as he was preceded by James Allen, a climber holding dual Australian and British citizenship, who reached the summit in 1995 at age 22.[27][28] The record has since been surpassed by Jake Meyer and then Rob Gauntlett who summitted at age 19. To prepare for climbing at such high altitudes in the Himalayas, in 1997, Grylls became the youngest Briton to climb Ama Dablam, a peak once described by Sir Edmund Hillary as "unclimbable".[29]Other expeditionsCircumnavigation of the UKIn 2000 Grylls led the team to circumnavigate the British Isles on jet skis,[24] taking about 30 days, to raise money for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI). He also rowed naked in a homemade bathtub along the Thames to raise funds for a friend who lost his legs in a climbing accident.[26]Crossing the North AtlanticThree years later, he led a team of five, including his childhood friend, SAS colleague, and Mount Everest climbing partner Mick Crosthwaite, on an unassisted crossing of the north Atlantic Ocean, in an open rigid inflatable boat. Grylls and his team travelled in an eleven-metre-long boat and encountered force 8 gale winds with waves breaking over the boat while passing through icebergs in their journey from Halifax, Nova Scotia to John o' Groats, Scotland.[30]Dinner party at altitudeIn 2005, alongside the balloonist and mountaineer David Hempleman-Adams and Lieutenant Commander Alan Veal, leader of the Royal Navy Freefall Parachute Display Team, Grylls created a world record for the highest open-air formal dinner party, which they did under a hot-air balloon at 7,600 metres (25,000 ft), dressed in full mess dress and oxygen masks.[31] To train for the event, he made over 200 parachute jumps. This event was in aid of The Duke of Edinburgh's Award and The Prince's Trust.[32]Paramotoring over the HimalayasIn 2007, Grylls embarked on a record-setting Parajet paramotor in Himalayas near Mount Everest. He took off from 4,400 metres (14,500 ft), 8 miles south of the mountain. Grylls reported looking down on the summit during his ascent and coping with temperatures of −60 °C (−76 °F). He endured dangerously low oxygen levels and eventually reached 9,000 metres (29,500 ft), almost 3,000 metres (10,000 ft) higher than the previous record of 6,102 metres (20,019 ft). The feat was filmed for Discovery Channel worldwide as well as Channel 4 in the UK.[33] While Grylls initially planned to cross over Everest itself, the permit was only to fly to the south of Everest, and he did not traverse Everest out of risk of violating Chinese airspace.[34]The expedition provoked some controversy. Grylls initially reported on his blog to have broken a new world record by flying over Mount Everest, when in fact – though reaching a height greater than Everest – he did not actually fly over the top of the mountain but was in fact some miles away from it.[27] Some explorers have cast doubts on the veracity of other aspects of the flight, such as its purportedly record-setting height, which would have put him into the "death zone" where the amount of oxygen in the air is insufficient to sustain human life.[27]Journey Antarctica 2008In 2008, Grylls led a team of four to climb one of the most remote unclimbed peaks in the world in Antarctica, to raise funds for children's charity Global Angels and promote the use of alternative energies. During this mission the team also aimed to explore the coast of Antarctica by inflatable boat and jetski, part powered by bioethanol, and then to travel across some of the vast ice desert by wind-powered kite-ski and electric powered paramotor. However, the expedition was cut short after Grylls suffered a broken shoulder while kite skiing across a stretch of ice. Travelling at speeds up to 50 km/h (30 mph), a ski caught on the ice, launching him in the air and breaking his shoulder when he came down. He had to be medically evacuated.[35]Longest indoor freefallGrylls, along with the double amputee Al Hodgson and the Scotsman Freddy MacDonald, set a Guinness world record in 2008 for the longest continuous indoor freefall. The previous record was 1 hour 36 minutes by a US team. Grylls, Hodgson, and MacDonald, using a vertical wind tunnel in Milton Keynes, broke the record by a few seconds. The attempt was in support of the charity Global Angels.[36][37][38]Northwest Passage expeditionIn August 2010, Grylls led a team of five to take an ice-breaking rigid-inflatable boat (RIB) through 2,500 miles (4,000 km) of the ice-strewn Northwest Passage. The expedition intended to raise awareness of the effects of global warming and to raise money for children's charity Global Angels.[

Is that you Bear or your agent? Too many accounts of your fakery and greed to take you seriously. Still as you say, you are an entertainer not an adventurer. And you make a good living out of your "charity" work.

Grylls and his team travelled in an eleven-metre-long boat and encountered force 8 gale winds with waves breaking over the boat while passing through icebergs in their journey from Halifax, Nova Scotia to John o' Groats, Scotland.[30]

Dinner party at altitude
In 2005, alongside the balloonist and mountaineer David Hempleman-Adams and Lieutenant Commander Alan Veal, leader of the Royal Navy Freefall Parachute Display Team, Grylls created a world record for the highest open-air formal dinner party, which they did under a hot-air balloon at 7,600 metres (25,000 ft), dressed in full mess dress and oxygen masks.[31] To train for the event, he made over 200 parachute jumps. This event was in aid of The Duke of Edinburgh's Award and The Prince's Trust.[32]

Paramotoring over the Himalayas
In 2007, Grylls embarked on a record-setting Parajet paramotor in Himalayas near Mount Everest. The feat was filmed for Discovery Channel worldwide as well as Channel 4 in the UK.[33] While Grylls initially planned to cross over Everest itself, the permit was only to fly to the south of Everest, and he did not traverse Everest out of risk of violating Chinese airspace.[34]

The expedition provoked some controversy. Grylls initially reported on his blog to have broken a new world record by flying over Mount Everest, when in fact – though reaching a height greater than Everest – he did not actually fly over the top of the mountain but was in fact some miles away from it.[27] Some explorers have cast doubts on the veracity of other aspects of the flight, such as its purportedly record-setting height, which would have put him into the "death zone" where the amount of oxygen in the air is insufficient to sustain human life.[27]

Journey Antarctica 2008
In 2008, Grylls led a team of four to climb one of the most remote unclimbed peaks in the world in Antarctica, to raise funds for children's charity Global Angels and promote the use of alternative energies. He had to be medically evacuated.[35]

Longest indoor freefall
Grylls, along with the double amputee Al Hodgson and the Scotsman Freddy MacDonald, set a Guinness world record in 2008 for the longest continuous indoor freefall. The previous record was 1 hour 36 minutes by a US team. Grylls, Hodgson, and MacDonald, using a vertical wind tunnel in Milton Keynes, broke the record by a few seconds. The attempt was in support of the charity Global Angels.[36][37][38]

Northwest Passage expedition
In August 2010, Grylls led a team of five to take an ice-breaking rigid-inflatable boat (RIB) through 2,500 miles (4,000 km) of the ice-strewn Northwest Passage. The expedition intended to raise awareness of the effects of global warming and to raise money for children's charity Global Angels.[

Great offer.. got a pair of Bear Grylls trousers RRP £70 for £17.50 as the 50% code worked for me on sale items

I had problems getting the discounts using the website to order and I ended up phoning Craghoppers and they had to create 2 orders. One for the 'Cracker 20' deal on items already discounted and another for the 'Merry 50' deal on full price items. They were happy to combine the orders and only charge 1 lot of postage.
They were very helpful

Great deal - but then checked on amazon and found my items even cheaper with more colour choice so its worth comparing amazon too before you commit :-)

Thanks op! Ordered a parka and used the code too
