How did this even get hot?
    Should be £30 max for a gen3 1TB DRAM-less QLC NAND drive.

For the same price you caan get a gen4 1TB DRAM-less QLC NAND drive -
    amazon.co.uk/Kin…8-1

The fact that this deal has more heat than the NV2 deal is a joke.

Consider the fact that QLC was delevoped for cost saving, it is cheaper to manufacture than TLC NAND and has much lower endurance levels.
Therefore it should be a reasonable amount cheaper than any TLC NAND drives of the same capacity, yet this is not. In some cases it is more expensive.

For £36 you can get a TLC NAND drive with DRAM cache, though sequential speeds are lower (a minor negative compared to the positives) -
    amazon.co.uk/Kio…-16

Or get a gen4 TLC NAND drive for £37, the extra £2 is well spent -
    amazon.co.uk/Sil…h=1

Or a TLC NAND drive with the same sequential speeds as this for £36 -
    amazon.co.uk/Net…-36

£30 for a TLC NAND drive, albeit with slower sequential speeds -
    amazon.co.uk/Sil…-15

    EDIT:
Also this one mentioned below -
    hotukdeals.com/com…017

Regarding the sequential speeds, they only matter for transferring large files, nothing else at all.
Not only that, but DRAM-less QLC NAND drives have a HUGE drop in sequential speeds as the drives fill up. It'll be 3500MB/s for a little while when transferring very large amounts of data, then you'll drop down to HDD speeds long before any of the above drives.

Anyone that thinks this deal is 'hot' is clueless. (edited)

Are these any good for upgrading my xbox one x hdd?

An easy option is to put this into a USB caddy, and plug it into one of the USB ports on the Xbox one x. I’ve done this exact thing with this very drive this week.

You can then move games across onto this SDD, and they load a lot quicker than the mechanical internal drive.

Since the Xbox is only USB 3.0, the SSD is limited to approx 1,000 MB/s.

    430+ heat for a Gen3 DRAM-less QLC drive.

    250+ for a Gen4 DRAM-less QLC drive...
