    I have had cubot phone in the past ( a while ago ) not sure how they are now but back then there was 0 updates and support , the phone got outdated very quickly without android updates I would stay away

    Sometimes good brands just matter, and Xiaomi is a very good brand for the cost conscious. How other brands sell against Xiaomi at this type of price point is beyond me. I guess 'sounding' Chinese literally puts a certain section of punters off. On the other hand, the foolishness is good for the wise, else Xiaomi could charge more.

    Thanks OP. I bought a Cubot phone as a present for someone over a year ago and it has been absolutely brilliant. Surprisingly that one had a removable battery, just like they all used to.
    OPs one does not have a headphone socket, (why have phones done away with this?) is not 5 g but rest of the specs appear amazing value.
    Aliexpress add the tax on check out nowadays. Did not click to see if they can deliver from an EU warehouse for this phone.
    I wish they would be more clear on adding storage. I presume its dual sim, where one of the slots can be used for storage?
