Are the drivers going get the sack if they do not get it delivered in 45 minutes and not hit so many targets a day?

This will result in drivers speeding around more and braking speed limits so they hit targets and do not get the sack making uk roads more unsafe for the public?

Can see the headlines now delivery driver kills family of 4 by speeding because they was 5 minutes from the 45 minute limit

Interested to know if it's deducted off the drivers wage or the restaurant. Either way doesn't sound moral

Probably neither. More likely Deliveroo will be paying for this. They'd have algorithmicly calculated restaurant delivery time and made sure they all usually deliver under 45 mins. Barely anyone will get a voucher.

Once and only once I got a delivery and it was not marked as delivered until the day after I received it. I wonder what Deliveroo would say if this service guarantee was available then?

Quite agree with this. I feel like the deliverers are the ones bearing the liability of this offer. Would have to know for sure if the delivery drivers were not getting penalised if there is a late order.

Never had one to me in 45 before normal takes 1 hour

How are people are going prove it has taken longer then 45? Can imagine some one times it and clock hits 46 minutes when they get there and want the 20 (edited)
